Good Hot Water Dispenser Until It Breaks

This is my third unit in 18 years. The last unit lasted only 4 years, just past the warranty. It is very convenient product to have.

This is my 3rd insinkerator!

We would not be without this water heater. It makes so many things a breeze to heat. Thanks for such a good product.

Great While It Lasts

I have had these Instant Hot water heaters for over 10 years. When they work as designed, they are very convenient. I use it to make tea, clean difficult dishes, etc. etc. However, they last less than 5 years. My first one lasted 5-6 years. Insinkerator was kind enough to send a replacement boiler that lasted a little over 4 years. In February, the unit started tripping its dedicated GFI plug. Hot water at your fingertips for making tea, rinsing residue adhering to dished. Easy to adjust temperature. My old one (over ten years old) had died. While I waited for the new one, it really hit home how much I used it during the day!

I love it!

My previous unit went out. I think we had it for 10+ years. Love the ease with which I can get my instant hot drinks without using the microwave. Looks great at my sink. Doesn't take up much room underneath my sink.

Never had an 'instant hot' dispenser before - wowser what was I missing? I don't drink hot tea, but even so, I use this all the time. Also, I like that the handle is round and requires a twist of the hand (other styles had 'stick' handles that could easily be turned on by little ones who had no idea they could get burned) Looks great and works even better. Reliability

This is my 3rd or 4th hot water dispenser. That fact alone makes one question the reliability. Installation is a pain in the behind unless you are a double-joined midget.

Have owned this product for years, best thing I purchased when we placed the kitchen sink.

Excellent product ,replacement for one that lasted ten years

Previous unit faucet failed after ten years so bought this as a replacement. Easy to install but connections on the unit were shorter than the previous one so needed to redo some of them. Took about 20 minutes to install and had hot water in minutes.

Hot water at a moment’s notice!

Love our hot water dispenser/insinkerator! Perfect for coffee, tea, oatmeal, and so much more. Don’t install your countertops without making a hole for this addition, you won’t regret it!

Less expensive and simple tank replacement

Purchased this lower-end unit simply to obtain an new hot water tank with the same measurements/features as one that wore out. Purchasing a tank-only replacement would have forced buying a much more expensive upgraded tank. I just wanted a simple, equal replacement.

Third Try

Love the product, but can't get one to last longer than 3 years. If this one doesn't make it longer than that, I'm done.

Tubing deteriorates and leaks after 4-5 years

Product works fine with the exception of the fact that the tubing has deteriorated after about 4-5 years in a previous ISE unit. To be fair, the same thing has happened to me on other brands. Our water is not hard and I would expect it to last at least 10 years.

Works great!

This was not our model , OURS HAD A PUSH BUTTON. We like it very much. It would be better if the BUTTON was Taller. It should be a little to the right as well, or wider. Other than that it's fine.

Great Kitchen Device.......

During complete kitchen remodel time this winter, I purchased this device to be installed, also. What a great new feature in the new kitchen!! Thanks!!

This product works great and will for a long time.

Second one we have installed and very pleased with the current performance as before. Gets frequent use and can't imagine being without one after all these years.

this new one with a lever is much better and more control than the old one. hopefully it will last more than 3 years

Great Product

Just love the convenience of having hot water on tap, especially in the AM to get my oatmeal cereal made quickly and mess free.

Absolutely love it!

We have had the hot water unit in previous homes and had it in this home for 12 years when it stopped working. We loved the unit so much and missed the convenience that we had a new one installed a few weeks ago. We love it all over again.
