Would Not RecommendThe adhesive is not much different than water. For $2 more you can get a different brand that will save you an hour of work and frustration.
Rope is not a dense weave
Would Not RecommendThis would be a good product if the weave was tighter. It was not dense enough to fill the rope gasket seat and provide a seal between the door and stove. The door was still loose after installation. Went to a local small stove shop, picked up some dense 5/8 door rope and glue and it worked great. I do not recommend this product. It's inexpensive for a reason.
