Doesn't work on vertical surface.
Would Not RecommendMy gasket is on the stove not the door. The cement wouldn't hold the gasket to the door at all. I tried to use tape to help hold it but it didn't work. Maybe if your gasket attaches to the door and you remove and lay the door flat it might work.

Okay if you can’t get the OEM gasket
It was rad to install but needs to be denser to truly seal the door on my wood stove. I requires a 12 hour cure time so don’t do this if you need heat from your stone.

Would Not RecommendI was in a pinch to replace the door gasket on my stove and figured why not try it. Lasted about a week before leaking smoke into the house and was incredibly brittle. Super glue consistency adhesive. 10/10 wouldn’t recommend. Luckily had ordered a different brand and no more issues.
