Would Not RecommendThis isn't OEM quality, the gasket is soft and spongey, the glue has no tack adhesiveness and drips off the door before you can apply the rope. I went and got some high temp silicone and reapplied the OLD gasket which did a great job. Learned once again, read the reviews.

Would Not RecommendThe rope seems denser and a higher quality than the grey competitor, but the adhesive is like water and difficult to control. My stove recommends 5/8" rope. My original rope used red 1000-degree silicone that probably filled the channel volume more and gave more available rope surface for sealing purposes. When new, this 5/8” rope sat fully in the channel and did not protrude substantially as compared to the worn rope I previously removed. I kick myself for not stopping there! After the waiting ...
Great replacement seal for your woodstove.
Would RecommendUsed this when refinishing my woodstove after 10 years of use. Just what it says, a new gasket. You'll most likely have to cut it to size, just beware that it tends to want to unravel when you do this. I'd recommend using the included glue to seal the end of the gasket as well. If your gasket is missing or smashed to nothing, this will definitely help with better controlling your draft of the stove.

Would Not RecommendThe rope part is great but the adhesive is pure junk, it was like water and the rope absorbed it and turned as hard as a rock forcing me to buy another to replace it. Time & money was wasted.

Would Not RecommendThis stuff is garbage. The “adhesive” is like water and makes a huge mess and is not nearly thick or strong enough to adhere the gasket. I was relying on this for heat in my house and this was a huge inconvenience for me.
Gasket crumbles apart after 3 weeks
Would Not RecommendGasket fit decent glue was to weak to hold in place while door was on stove kept falling off before I could close door. Took door off clamped in place with wooden blocks and clamps lasted about 3 weeks of use opened door and all of gasket fell out in a bunch of pieces
Terrible adhesive
Would Not RecommendI completely cleaned out the gasket channel, Chipping put old cement, wire brushing with a wheel on a drill and then an Isopropanol wipe down to remove any dust, particles or grease. Shook the glue per instructions and when put into the channel and the gasket placed as soon as I picked up the door to place it on the stove the gasket fell off. reapplied the glue, reinserted the gasket and clamped boards over the gasket and left over night, glue never set. A waste of time and money
