Would RecommendThis item works, but depending on the type of stove you have (Quadrafire here)... you'll need 2 kits. The gasket is not long enough to complete a seal and if you stretch it out so the ends touch... it is too thin to complete a seal.

Would RecommendI never use the adhesive & holds in the track just fine. 2 complaints: I have about 2' left after doing 1 door, not enough to do 2 doors so I have to get 2 packages, I like to use a continuous piece. last about 2 years then it is compressed and doesn't seal as tightly.

Would RecommendNeeded to replace a small damaged section... lay it out and squish it with a book if you have a flat channel for a few hours to make it easier to work with. glue is really running put it in the fridge before using made it adhere better.

Would Not RecommendI normally used the gray gasket type but was at Lowes and said hey why not. Never saw glue like this before being clear and so runny. I figures ok, something new, almost reminded me of super glue. So still assumed everything was fine, just a newer type of glue. Was in in for a shock when 2 weeks later the rope was so brittle it was falling apart!! You could literally crush it to pieces between your fingers. Beyond what could possibly been wrong as this was not my first rodeo as I have owned ...

Works, Set time is a bit too long
Would RecommendIt works as it should. Only complaint is the time it takes to set is a bit ridiculous. Overall works well. Last one I bought lasted for 3 years. And yes, as the photo shows, my particular stove the gasket goes into the channel on the stove, not the door. I think people are getting into a rush. Let it set before putting your door on if that's where it goes. Patience is key.
