Best hood vent
Would RecommendThis is a heavy gauge hood vent. Very sturdy and easy to install. I would blind caulk it but because the material is so sturdy the 4 corner screws should seat it to the siding great. Also because the exhaust is at the bottom and not the front it doesn't allow air flow in or to keep rattling the damper. Best vent hood by far.

Would RecommendMetal vent -far better than plastic lourver type Plastic will sunrot & break in time (as our old one did).There are a lot of 4” vents- this is 6” with damper. Opening is shaped downward so bad weather stays out.
