The MV-90 is designed for when the vent path takes a 90 degree turn, such as down through the floor, up through the ceiling, or off to the side. The MV-90 can also be used for same wall offsets greater than 9 inches. Coupled directly to a standard 4 inch diameter, adjustable, 90 degree elbow creates a 9 inch offset. If your same wall offset is 6 inches, you can use the MV-90 and an elbow, taking advantage of its ability to handle misalignment up to 3 inches.
