I modified it some upon installation.

My wife has a laser cutter that requires an exhaust, we increased it grin 4" to 6", this served our needs well but was a little pricey and the screen could be better. One screw for the screen kept trying to fall out.

It's a beast

Needed an exhaust vent for a portable AC in my shed. Wanted something more robust than the less expensive plastic vents. Nice that you can remove the damper as I didn't want to restrict air flow. Extra points because it looks like it was designed for a battleship. Wife says I should get another for the other side to balance things out. Thought maybe I'd put a light in the other one. Heck, I might change out all my exterior lights to match.

Perfect for running my portable AC unit's exhaust hose through a wall to the home's exterior.

Incredibly sturdy

So much better than those cheap exhausts where the aluminum is just curled onto itself. This is extruded! Just installed for a big master bath exhaust fan. It's a beast

Great exhaust vent

Very solid with a flapper and removable screen for dryer use if needed. The only reason I gave it 4 rather than 5 stars was the tailpiece was not long enough to go through my old brick house. Other than that, it's a great product!!

strong enough

easy install and strong enough to stand up to a hurricane, very happy with the construction.

No draft

Our original vent did not have a flap that did a very good job. After installing this unit there was no more draft. The vent seems to be working fine. It was a straight forward installation. If you are able to remove the old vent then this should be easy to install. It is easy to trim to the required length with sheet metal shears.

Cheap but good

Install sizing and damper actuation was great BUT unit exterior cover had to be screwed together as it flexed out of shape

Great quality

This item was a bit pricey, but the quality is awesome and the flapper works better than any other I’ve ever used. Being metal I know it will hold up and once the weather warms up I’ll paint it to match the house color.

I haven't seen a good one. This is minimal design like most. At .5" static pressure with any length of dryer HARD pipe you will very close on moving enough air. Same goes for other vents too. The exhaust size outlet is sized 3.5 x 7" to match 6" pipe size but there is a damper restriction in it. I will definitely be removing screen guard.
