Would Not RecommendI purchased the Rancher 450 in October of 2020 to tend to a tree that had fallen in my yard. No complaints, it worked beautifully. I maintained according to the owners manual and stored until using 2 additional times in October 2023. Started right up and worked great on the first of most recent uses. Best brand for chainsaws.
Would RecommendHusqvarna is the only brand of chainsaw we buy. This was an upgrade from the 18" we bought in 2017. It is a little heavier than the 18" model but cuts through bigger diameter trees really well.

Been in the shop 4 times in a year
Would Not RecommendI did a lot of research and decided on this one. I have had it for a little over a year and have barely gotten to use it. It won’t oil right and I can’t make more that 12 cuts before the blade binds up. Took it to one factory authorized shop 3 different times and they couldn’t resolve the issue. Contacted Husqvarna and they said to take it to a different shop. It has been at the other shop for two months now and they can’t get parts from the factory to try to fix it. Gas powered beaver!
Would RecommendI bought the Husqvarna 450 Rancher for a Big Timber cutting operation at work clearing away about an acre of cottonwood trees that were densely packed in a swampy area. Compared to my partner's orange and white saw the Husqvarna just absolutely kills it. This thing is like a gas-powered beaver it can run harder and longer than I can. Would Not RecommendDoesn’t keep the bar oiled enough to cut big logs. Even exchanged for another to see if I had just got a bad oiler but second saw had the same problem. Went and bought a Stihl.

Would RecommendFor the price point on this chainsaw, its a beast and a great deal. The chainsaw itself starts right up and seems to cut pretty much any type of wood. Used it to clear a few trees and stumps from my property and it works great. I would recommend it anybody asking.
