Would Not RecommendI bought 2 of these saws and both of them broke after a day of use. I even had to go to Winston-Salem to get the second one and it broke the same day

don't buy this garbage
Would Not Recommendthis chainsaw couldn't hold the chain on if I welded it in place the cluch/brake system is a terrible design all plastic parts this thing can't even cut twigs with out coming apart good luck putting the guard back on if the chain falls off this thing will be seeing my blow torch save your money and go else where for this kind of price point I expected better will be selling my weed eater and mower from them to go to all new bran now

The new 450 design is flimsy .
Would Not RecommendI returned it because it is fragile, the upper cover is held in place with flimsy plastic clips now rather than the steel screws traditionally used, the bar has only one single retaining screw rather than the twin steel bar retaining studs traditionally used. My old Rancher 50 was built in 1983 & I was going to replace it as after 40 years parts are getting harder to buy for it. Poor assembly from the manufacture.
The chain was installed backwards straight out of the box. Very frustrating to purchases an expensive piece of equipment and it not be ready to use straight out of the box.

Always an issue
Would Not RecommendI've had this chainsaw for about 11 months now and it is in the shop for repairs 20% of the time. It always seems to have an issue when I need to use it and it is extremely frustrating that it does not work when I need it. I had a cheap BlueMax saw for 5 years that worked great until the motor burned up. The Husqvarna can't even make it a year and cost twice as much.

Would RecommendPowerful enough to cut through large limbs. Chain stays sharp for hours of cutting. Case purchased separately protects the saw but is a bit difficult to open and close.

Would RecommendI purchased the Husqvarna 450 Rancher a few days ago, the only problems I had was with the chain brake. What ever you do DO NOT take the side clutch cover off with the chain brake engaged!!! If you don’t the cover will not go back on. If this happens , take the bar and chain I completely off then slide the cover on and move the chain brake handle back and forth til you feel the tension machinism fall in position, bolt the cover down then pull back on Chain brake handle to disengage, it has been ...
