Gets the job done
This saw is a beast. Took down a 30" diameter Elm without hesitation right it off the box. Started right up. Although I did have to adjust the idle a little, but that's not difficult if you know what your doing. Highly recommend if you're looking for a cost-effective monster.

Just what I need!
I have a lot of trees in my yard and I chose a Husqvarna 450 rancher 20 inch chainsaw because I have already used my friend's Husqvarna 455 rancher chain saw before and I loved it . I also have a Husqvarna 150BT leaf blower which is 12 years old and it works just perfectly. I chose 450 rancher instead of 455 rancher because it's 2 pounds lighter, cheaper, almost the same power and both of them have a 20" bar. Amazing 20" chainsaw!
This is an absolutely mind blowing powerful yet quiet chainsaw that outperforms anything I've ever used before to include commercial grade saws! Comes ready to use out the box after fueling it and was able to take down a large tree and make firewood in less than a hour! Cuts smooth and clean and doesn't take up much space in your garage.

Good homeowner saw
This Husqvarna 450 chainsaw is a decent and solid chainsaw for a homeowner and light rancher. This is the newest version, and the sprocket cover now has one bolt securing it which makes on the go maintenance a little quicker. It started right up, although the instructions regarding priming the bulb, pulling the start rope lightly to NOT start the saw, then repositioning the start stop switch is confusing, particularly since the instructions are different for a warm and cold engine. Smoothest Most Powerful Chainsaw Ever!
Wow. I was concerned the 20" size would be too heavy and unwieldy...not! This is the best balanced saw I have ever used. it was comfortable even for my wife. The X-Torq engine is surprisingly quiet, very smooth with minimal vibration and the instant torque allows you to cut at lower throttle. Excellent Husqvarna Chainsaw
The Husqvarna 20-in X-Force 450 Rancher Chainsaw is amazing. I never owned such a nice piece of equipment. I like the angle of the grab bar so it doesn’t feel awkward. With all the pieces together it cuts through large and small sized easily. Cuts like butter. The job went so fast I couldn’t believe it. The only issue was it’s a tad heavy for me so I just have to be careful when I’m using it. All in all it’s excellent and I’m so thankful for the Lowe’s Loop Program!
