Awesome Wi-Fi

Love the ease to install and use. What a great improvement in Wi-Fi strength!

Fair coverage

Using Nest Wifi with Google Wifi already had. Works well but coverage is just adequate with Nest router, 3 wifi routers as access points, one nest router access point and one nest point for 3500 sq ft house and outside. Speed of router appears limited. With increased band width available may need to go to different system

Seamless Constant Connectivity

I used to have a single router that was provided by my ISP, but having a second floor and with so many devices connected at once, the devices that were furthest away often had lag and connectivity problems. Since I got the Nest Router and a point which went upstairs and also added another google assistant to my arsenal, my connection has been totally seamless with no issues or interruptions like I used to. Totally recommend this product. Very happy with it!

nest wifi and point review

I had gotten this with a new modem for Christmas and it has drastically improved my wireless internet speeds. I constantly get my max bandwidth. The range is much better as well, my bedroom would be the worst offender of not getting any signal even though I had a wifi extender.

Amazing product

We had lot of connectivity issues using a different router and it got resolved after we installed Nest wifi router and a point. Now in every part of our apartment we are getting enough speed and good connectivity.

Set up is tricky if replacing a Google product

If you're replacing a Google Wifi product then you must delete the old before adding the new. I had an OnHub that was not going to be supported. I tried to replace it with the Nest but it did not work. Google support was very helpful. Set up was easy once the old one was removed.

No Surprises with Nest Wifi

I purchased a Nest Wifi router to replace out-of-service equipment, and I'm not disappointed at all. Simple to set up, great wifi coverage, and nice features to make it easy for guest to share the wifi and to put some limits on the kid's access to the Internet.

Easy and Effective

I installed the Google Nest system and raised the internet speed throughout my house substantially.

Flaky

After one year of normal use, whole wifi coverage became unstable. I checked modem and checked feed quality from provider - no problems. Wifi point loose connection with base often. Running benchmark on wifi device shows issues. Is it hardware problem or recent updates? I'm not sure.Nest administration features are primitive. No way to tune parameters or even set custom restrictions. only positive about is, with the physical form factor it has, the coverage is not bad.

Difficult setup

I had a perfectly good OnHub setup, but attempted the upgrade since Google is ending support support for older Wi-Fi systems. The Nest took me six hours to setup, even after following the app's instructions precisely. It would never find and connect to the internet, even after resetting my supported Motorola Cable Modem. Also, setting up my existing Google Wi-Fi points to remake my mesh network was problematic, with the points taking multiple tries to be recognized. I wish Google had never mes...

Solid, Easy, Slick

This is an amazing solution to fully cover your home with minimal to no deal zones. Setup is very easy and you are in full control. It also has a nice and slick design. Very happy!

Loose signal

Internet signal not constant, once shown great then good all of sudden weak back to good then great again and points never move, always was in great signal status, unreliable Have four units 35' apart and router in central location form two units 35' apart and third 20' apart from the router.

Best money spent

I love my new nest Wi-Fi. I was having buffering issues with so many devices connected to my spectrum Wi-Fi box. Now everything runs smoothly and I have had no issues since installing.

Wifi often disconnects

Some times out of the blue I have to disconnect the router because my wifi has stopped working for no reason. This is very annoying because I have lots of devices connected to the network.

Intermittent Connectivity Errors

Nest Wifi was an upgrade from Google Wifi. Nest Wifi router and satellite points placed in exactly the same position as Google Wifi; with the added benefit of replacing Google Home Mini units at the two satellite points. Light on Satellite units were unresponsive to commands to decrease brightness. Units required hard resets (physically unplugging) over several days to function properly. Ok system but not an upgrade

We purchased this as an upgrade from a Google WiFi mesh. I expected better throughput, coverage and cleaner streaming but am experiencing poorer coverage and connection drops. Our home is 2560 sf so the router and 2 points should be plenty, but the signals are much weaker. I did put one old Google WiFi point in with the Ethernet connected for the furthest point, and it helped. I think this “upgrade” was a waste of money and effort.
