I bought a router 3 points. One point was just bad - I wasted over an hour trying to get it to work, finally bought another that installed easily and returned the first. There was no option on the return to choose something that just didn't work, so I'm not sure Google got that feedback. A few days later, that third point that was working stopped working. Fortunately, power cycling it worked to bring it back online.

Wifi the way it should be

I didn't realize how many devices I had connected until a few weeks before a lot more where going to be added. The all in one modem router I was using did an ok job at covering my home. But after installing the nest wifi I see what I was missing. At the furthest point from the router the speed test is faster than it was with the old device sometimes in the next room over. I'm confident that the new devices will work great on my neat wifi system.

Surprisingly bad. I mean really, really bad.

Google totally missed it on this one. Maybe I was wrong for expecting my Google Wifi mesh to simply “work” out of the box, but I don’t think so. I have more endpoints than google recommends for a house our size (had to try more because the recommended number definitely wasn’t working), and there isn’t anything unique or different about our structure (our walls aren’t lined with lead, we don’t have copper mesh screen in our drywall to inhibit signal transmission…this is, after all, my house…not...

Great Wifi

Provides excellent coverage and the extender doubles as a google assistant to play music, etc. Love it.

Slow Than Molasses

We have a great deal of Nest products that we use around out house. We thought we would add the Nest Wifi to the collection. We read great reviews about it. We set up it and switched the other Nest products to this WIFI. Which was troublesome, it was not an easy transition. Finally, after 2 days of setting this device up and using the product, we have come to the conclusion, this is much slower than our previous WiFi. Google Nest

The hub is excellent and can share wifi throughout the house. The Google points do not work well. They won't stay connected to the hub. I finally gave up on the points and use only the hub.

Just ok

For the price they should work a lot better. My phone connects via WiFi and holds onto a bad signal as I move away from one of my nest wifi routers and won't switch over to the best signal. I have many positioned around my house and started having problems when I added see more. Now I find out that I'm only supposed to have a total of 5. That should be stated in the packaging. I extend wifi out to multiple garages and my house so I need more.

Mesh wifi

Went from using a modem/router combo with a range extender to a Google mesh set up. Increased my speeds and gave me a strong connection throughout my house. Couldn't be happier with my purchase

WAY BETTER, but has its own setbacks.

Goodbye to connection problems!

We have around 20 devices on our household network, and we previously had constant problems keeping connected to the WiFi. Since we started using this product, there have been no issues at all. Setup was incredibly easy. Also, the speaker sounds great.

Works great

So far the router with the mesh point have been reliable.

Much Faster!

Our Nest wifi and point have really improved the download speeds in our office! With our Cox panoramic wifi router, our internet speed would drop from over 300 Mbps near the router to around 20 Mbps just two rooms away in the office. After getting the Nest wifi and point hooked up, the speed in the office is now over 100 Mbps faster!

I recently added this point to my mesh setup. It works!! Not too surprising but the system is smart and easy to use. I’m happy with my purchase— go for it!

I updated from an on hub to the nest Wi-Fi no dropouts so far seems to be working well

Surpassed my expectations!

I bought the 3 pack Nest Wi-Fi to solve a connectivity problem in my long house. It worked! I now have a very strong signal throughout my property with no dead spaces. I have just started to use the google assistant in different ways and I am considering automating a few more things in my home. I would definitely recommend this product to everyone.

Nest wifi

I have 1gb Comcast and was maxing out at 500mb with they're wifi router combo and since I got the good I get a constant 800mb to 900mb

Amazing

Amazing product, i recommend. It manages easily the 2.4GHz and the 5Ghz network, i can easily manage my guest and main network.

Pretty good

The mesh network is very good when it comes to full coverage where ever you are in the house. The only major issue that ive run into thus far would be if i need to reset an individual access point for one reason or another. The access point that I reset decides it doesnt want to to connect to the rest of the network and then i end up having to reset both access points as well as the router, definitely not idea. Other than that one gripe, the nest mesh network is great and i highly recomend it.

My son got two for us WOW what a difference!!! No more interference when we run our microwave and smart TV.
