Google Nest is the easiest and best router gateway and WIFI system for the home.

It took about 15 minutes to install as it wasn't readily recognized by the app but afterwards is working flawlessly.

Easy to setup and works great

Highly recommend this - I bought 2 devices and later added a 3rd to support backyard use. I was quickly able to install and setup and it’s just worked since.

A little disappointed

The coverage is not as good as I expected and what is proclaimed. The wifi app is great and easy to use. I like the device priority settings on the app. Overall I'm happy with it.

Gets the job done, but nothing extra

As a mesh network it really is the best ive tried.However its lack of other features and updates make it really hard to deal with.No browser login; no google asst or other smart integration; no linking to other google services; no parental controls or tracking; or blocking only 1 priority device for 4 hours; inconsistent notifications on devices that have joined; app is buried into home app; too many taps to get too anything; and the list goes on.But begrudgingly, its most important task it doe...

Have to restart network often

Unfortunately, the points regularly disconnect or things slow down to a crawl. I have to restart the network every few days.

Decent performance but not nearly enough granular control options to be a true "router" option. Wemt back to my Asus AC86U and gave my Nest setup to a relative.

Fast, stable, easy to set up and easy to use

While it doesn't allow any type of programming or third-party firmware, this is possibly the best router I've had. The wireless access point also works much better than an ethernet-connected one I've used in the past. Great reach but challenged with some HP and Bose items

Overall great solution but i keep having connection issues with Bose speakers and HP printers which only seem to work with base station. As soon as the mesh activates and they connect to a closer wifi point they no longer work

Work really well and have bigger coverage, Costumer Service is very helpful also.

Nest Wifi works well. As a bonus I.just setup the speakers to work as a group with the exisitng google home. Very nice.

I don't think it's better than Google WiFi

I bought the router and two nodes/points to replace my 3-router Google WiFi mesh network thinking it was better for some reason: it is not. I still get the same coverage (even though it explicitly says it helps you get better/larger coverage than G WiFi), the same download speeds and I've had more connection issues than before. I've had it for a few years and it worked pretty well until the last few months. Connection goes in and out pretty frequently. I have a router and a point and every device in my home is connected to the point and not the router, causing poor to no signal in certain parts of the house. Great when it works - not when it doesn't.

I've switched from Google WiFi to the new Google Nest for my 3,200 sq ft home and I've made three observations so far: 1) When everything works the coverage is very good and the signal is strong, however sometimes one or two points will disconnect from the router for no apparent reason and I've had to restart the offline point to get it back online. Not sure if the extenders work

The Nest router with two extenders proved to be a bit more difficult to set up than expected. I was never able to confirm that the nest cameras that kept dropping connection connected to the extenders. I bought this router to extend my wifi range so I wouldn't keep losing communication with my cameras that are furthest from the router. I have the extenders halfway between the router and the cameras and still keep losing the cameras.

I’m still trying to love this but my fire stick and iPhones don’t seem to like it.

All great till a few weeks.

I was pretty happy, till a few weeks back I started getting a bunch of disconnects from of the points. I had to disconnect the point till today I can't make it work.
