Works Fine

This is the first infrared thermometer that I have owned or even held. Seems to be a top quality unit. It is plastic but feels good.

Good idea, didn't work well

I liked the concept, and enjoyed the use until it started to mal-function. The readout on the display kept misreading. So I bought new battery and worked again for a few minutes then did same as before. If it worked, I would have loved it, but I was disappointed it didn't last but 10 minutes.

Very easy to use this device. Seems to be quite accurate.

Not accurate for shiny metal and solar panels

I bought this about 2 months ago so that I could check the temperature of my company solar panels at various locations and check the roof temperature. I also wanted to use this to calibrate thermostats inside storage buildings. Well it's proving to be NOT ACCURATE. I took a reading on a metal roof and it said 115 degrees. Heat seeker thermometer

I purchased this to check my AC ducts in 10 foot ceilings. My company (step-son) insisted that the AC in my new house was not functioning correctly . I was not home at the time. Thus , I told my wife to call a AC repair company. This tool in my wife's hand would have proved that the AC was OK. This is going to be returned today and a different one will be purchased.
