Quiet and convenient

The General 27KW is a great product. Quiet and efficient. Walked through the setup and inspection to start for first time and was pleasantly surprised how capable the new generator is at handling 3500 sq.ft. of living space.

The product has a great appearance!

You can never get too big of a generator. More power is better..

Good

My first impression is that the equipment looks good and the installer was excellent. The real test of course will be when the power fails due to weather disaster. I was very unhappy with the lack of communication from the back office regarding scheduling and status of equipment delivery.

We have only had to use it once but it came on as planned and kept us running.

A seamless transition to the generator when the power went out

Large Residential Generator

With having two EV's in the garage, I needed larger than the typical generator. Plus I truly like the continuous optional option with a water cooled engine. All this said, I am truly pleased with both the unit and the installation.

Powers My Whole House

I like that this unit comes on as necessary and powers the whole house wiithout me having to worry about what to shut off and what to run. Only problem is a small oil leak under the engine. Hopefully that can be fixed without too much hassle. Waiting for return call from installer.

Good, but gen communication to network poor

we love this power back up solution. Problem was that the generator won't send status to my wifi. My wifi connects to the generator, but the generator fails to send it's status. Generac help on line is useless and provides no assistance at all. I paid for this capability, but there's no way to ensure it works and Generac fails to help.

Nice features, quality installation, professional install team.

I was pleased with the professionalism of the install team, as well as with the appearance of the genset and the accessory utility work that accompanied the install (gas, electricity, foundation). The job was completed satisfactorily in 1 day, and we are comforted to know that we are now "power secure" as we enter the peak of the hurricane season. The unit will fully cover our standby generator needs and expectations.

Still early to evaluate

Took far too long. Feb to sept. Communications during this was totally lacking Once installation started the progress was very good. The crew showed me how to run it up and gave me the documentation for the Generac. They did not connect the WiFi connection. I will need to call in the morning. Overall, I am impressed with unit and look forward to using the WIFi

Good Generator

I can't say enough about the full package of installation. Very professional and complete. This generator is amazingly quiet and so far has worked flawlessly. It starts up and switches on in just few short seconds and so far has been very reliable. It's easy to maintain and looks very good and has a small footprint in my yard. Looking forward to now being protected from any further problems with the power grid in Oklahoma.

Great 27 KW generator

Hopefully we will never have to use the Generator but in testing and weekly runs the unit is very quiet compared to others. We have to place the unit 5 ft in air due to flood plane in Houston and the small footprint made this quite easy. Looks are very clean.

I needed a high quality reliable generator that I could depend on. Generac has been the leader in this field. I am a master electrician and have installed many back up power systems over the last 42 years. I believe Generac systems are the best and the the easiest system to install.

So far so good. Look forward to test run.

About to start up and test 38 kw in a couple days. Installation and electrical set up has been excellent.

Well designed. All essential parts (battery, oil dipstick, on/off controls) easily accessible. Will be easy to maintain.

Great machine! Quality design and build! Engine protective interlocks seem adequate, but I wish that that the temperatures, pressures, and levels were viewable over the phone app. All positive comments for the device. This Generac replaced a 2006 Generac 40KW that had been damaged by a lightning surge. My negative comment is that it took 4.5 months to ship...I suppose COVID had something to do with that issue.

This unit does everything it was advertised to do. Runs very quietly and provides enough power to meet all my electrical needs.

Power went down a couple of days after installation, generator came on and shut down when power came back on.

Be Specific

Make sure not to make location decisions and plans with the sales people, there were too many things I wanted that weren't possible due to regulations but the sales person said yes. While we like the product it is not as initially described.
