Finally, got my Generac delivered

I ordered this unit through a dealer on Feb 5, 2021, nearly 1 year ago. After multiple delays from Generac, the unit arrived January 23, 2022. The dealer installed the unit Feb 8th. Other than this delay of delivery, all has been great with Generac units. We had 18 KW, 1800 rpm, water cooled for 15 years. Upsized to this unit and gave the old unit to a neighbor for their use. Very impressed with the quietness of this unit. It is our second Generac. The first one is now 9 years old and has been trouble free. It is 27 KV. This new one, though larger, is just as quiet.

Will learn more about the generator with time

Even though there was a delay in the installation due to supply chain issues, we were impressed that EGE did not increase our invoice even though I'm certain your costs did increase. Installation was fast and high quality. The guys were friendly and answered all of my questions.

38KW Generator - glad with my choice!

Very satisified with the 38KW generator bought - and was amazed on how "quiet" it is when turned on (the noise level is way lower than for smaler generators).

This generator has great features!

We love this Generac generator. This unit is model RG03824ANAX. While in the test run we noticed is it a bit quieter than the one we had at our previous home. This on is liquid cooled which we were told it would be able to run longer without any problems. Our weather here we have had two instances where we were out of power for 10-12 hours. Looking forward to be ready for the winter!

Compact and quiet running

We are impressed with the size and how quiet in runs. With only what we saw at other residences, we thought our 38K generator would be much bigger and louder. And, when it arrived, we were surprised at the compact size and how quiet it runs. We do love the app and see it helping us keep up with the weekly exercise routine and maintenance. Really cool unit !

Error code 2760

How to clear 2760 code? Checked battery condition. It stays good.

This generator will do the job done in a normal size home

The location of the Auxiliary Shutdown switch makes it very easy to accidently turn the generator off. A simple fix was to place a guard around the switch. Locating the power wires for the MLG Module was a nightmare. They were bundled with and behind another wiring harness next to the actual generator. They should be placed next to the battery box where they are to be connected. The recommended 5/8" mounting bolts will not fit through the holes in the frame. I had to use 1/2" bolts. ...

Missing feature

The machine seems well built and the installation was smooth but there is an important feature missing. I have a Kohler generator at another location and when it exercises weekly it also takes the full load at the transfer switch and then switches back to normal mode automatically before it runs its cool down cycle. This is a valuable feature as it really tests the whole system weekly, but the Generac cannot perform that and requires a manual override of the transfer switch so it cannot run an...

Product top notch and installation excellent

Our experience with Grasten has been a pleasure. With the supply chain what it is they delivered and commissioned the 38 KW well within their prediction on the timing and communicated with us very well along the way. This unit is much quieter than the 25 KW we had at our previous home and will easily carry our entire home, pool and all. We haven't needed it yet but feel comfortable that it will work great.
