Excellent Experience

I had a 38kW Protector QS generator installed by Specialized Power Solutions and the entire process was excellent. From quoting, to installing to testing and maintenance I could not ask for better.

Reliable and relatively quiet

Very good unit and it replaces a similar Generac generator that we had for 18 years. It is quiet, relatively quiet and powers our entire home.

Upgraded Replacement

I had a Generac 25kw liquid-cooled that has given excellent service for 16+ years. I had some major engine problems that made repairs not cost effective to perform. I chose to replace with the newer 27kw liquid-cooled. Much quieter and fuel efficient and a little extra power to boot. Swap out was really easy and the new one went to work right away.

Nice Job!

We had a power outage the day after the Generac was hooked up because my neighbors tree fell on a power line. The generator kicked in perfectly and powered the house for the whole day. It was as if we never lost power! Great product!

Product performs well as expected

Lorhum Electric did a great job installing our new generator. Our only complaint is that it took almost a year to recieve the product we ordered. We are however, pleased with our new generator and look forwad to having backup power for our staff and guests in the event of a power outage.

Does the job well.

I installed this unit myself. The only thing I noticed was the wire nuts at the 125amp breaker from the generator head were only finger tight. Seemed wrong so I tightened them down. I am pleased with the WIFI Mobile Link. The Exercise Mode at a reduced RPM was impressive. When I tested the unit under load, it was as quiet as you would want your generator to be.

Fired up the first time!

We ordered a 30kW automatic standby generator for our 3400 sq ft house, and sadly the first one arrived badly damaged. We had to refuse delivery, and Generac sent out another one a few weeks later. This generator was in great shape, and after our electrician installed it and wired it up, it started on the first try. Since then it's been doing it's automated self-test each week. Feeling of peace of mind

The whole process of getting the generator from start to finish was great. Canter kept in contact to let me know when each step would take place. Now we have peace of mind in case of a power outage.

This is the second Generac standby generator that I have owned in the last 23 years. The First 20 kw has lasted over 20 years and is still running great. This new 27kw is much, much quieter and the electronic features that are included with this new unit are fantastic and in keeping with the current technology. Upgraded 38kw

Upgraded from a Generac 22k that ran flawlessly for 12 years. Product as described and very quiet. Larger in size of course to the previous 22k liquid cooled, but very pleased overall. Runs great and customer support was very helpful.

Just installed it - only a test run so far.

I am building a new house. This 38 kw machine should come in real handy since we are in the middle of a heavily wooded 3.5 acre property. It certainly seems like it will do the job.

Plenty of power; lots of security

I wanted a system that would be reliable and ready whether the next outage was in a month or in five years. I wanted a system that would run for ten minutes, or for ten days if necessary. This system will do that and support my whole house. With a 1,000 gallon propane tank, I am not dependent on the electric grid or the natural gas supply system. All I need now is a water well.

Seamless installation and solid construction

My 2008 22KW Generac engine failed, and I elected to replace it rather than repair an out of warranty unit with a new 27KW. The unit was replaced on December 12th, and I had my first power outage on December 19th. The product has not failed when there has been a lost of power.

We love our Generac

Our generator came online for the first time last night. The power was out for only an hour or so, but It was so nice to not have to worry how long the power would be off. And not having to start with the portable generator. Our 48 KW ran our whole home. I would highly recommend this unit.

Quality Control

I love the generator but they have factory quality control issues. I had water line clamp loose causing coolant leak.. Wire panel wires not seated properly causing issues to transfer switch. Fuel line hose clamp un-attached needing to be put in place and tightened. Lastly had to replace the solenoid to correct fuel pressure warning code. All this on initial installation.

The product is what we expected!

Since the install the product has operated exactly as we had hoped. Surprisingly the equipment is much quieter then we had expected also.
