Good wash/dryer combo

Overall good washer/dryer combo. I have dogs and other small animals and it is able to handle the hair. The capacity of the drum makes doing laundry quicker. The only small thing I’ve seen is that the automatic responder will say it is out of detergent but when I go to refill it there is about 1/6 of a tank left. Only 2 years old

Had this washer for 2 years. First year already needed a service call due to weird noise when spinning and also door wouldn’t lock to start cycles. Now washer stopping mid cycle and quoted $500 to repair. Repair tech stated this washer constantly has issues. Buy LG!

Only 6 mos and Door Leaks

Only 6mos and Door leaks!!! Soap dispenser not working. Scary, money costing, sound started yesterday. We're old, live out of the way, going somewhere for laundry is horrible. In the 60s GE was top quality. Never buy this crap!!!

Sucks

Will not spin clothes out if few items in washer. Has balance problems. No way to turn on spin function only.

Buyer Beware!

After only 7 months the blue seal is full of mold. I use the cleaning mode monthly but it is not preventing the mold growth. Samsung says to get service you must but the expensive Samsung Care Plus Extended Warranty! Very poor design to have this issue!

Great washer and dryer set!

I really like the capacity, the micro band feature to keep it Sanitary and the venting system so the interior does not smell. The stainless drum is also something that was a nonnegotiable for me.

GE washer

Love the capacity of the washers. I have washed comforters and the come out clean. My only complaint is that I will need to purchase an additional device to use the smart feature.

Great Washer

Washer works and looks very good. Like the auto detergent dispenser. And easy to clean rubber gasket.

Quiet it’s not.

It looks nice but it makes a loud thump when it changes cycle. It’s says it’s a quiet washer. Wrong! It’s not. It’s annoying. And I’m not used to having a washer that is loud. Unless it’s barring are going out. This new quiet washer is not quiet!

Horrible washer- did not even last 2 years.

We bought a front load washer in June of 2024. Spider arm started going out shortly after a year and now bearings are going out less than 2 years after purchase. GE was bought by HIAR(however you spell that, in 2018 and it’s all junk now) per our repair guy who came out. He said GE now is not the GE we remember growing up, it’s junk now. Horrible Washer

Horrible Washer . Broke after 14 months. When I called GE they said the warranty period was over. They sent a technician who was a 3rd party vendor who was clueless and quoted over 400$ to repair the Washer. What is worse is that the water drain pump started leaking and my floor is damaged with water. Overall a terrible experience. Never again a GE!

Excellent capacity

Happy with the capacity of this washer. It easily handles two sets of sheets with room to spare. Same for towel loads. It also does a good job balancing the load for spin cycle. I have noticed the cleanliness of my linens with this washer.
