Wastes water

Worked well for the first year but now more often than not when flushing, the drain valve sticks causing water to run continuously. A little jiggle of the handle usually fixes it but we shouldn't have to do that. Have found the water running for hours after a kid flushed it right as we were leaving the house for the day. Haven't gotten the water bill for that episode yet. Overall I'm sure I've used more water with this kit rather than less. Going to replace it with a standard valve.

Missing Parts

The purchase was picked up at the store after ordering online. The manf's box was not sealed. One of the items I was given was a return that was not in the appropriate internal plastic. That was exchanged by home delivery DAYS LATER but minutes before the plumbers arrived to install the device. They had been there for a while when they brought to my attention that a part was missing. They installed the product without the part. I can not afford another $170 for another plumber's trip to replace ...

Great concept

Love the ability to adjust the water level with a dial & number reference. The reverse half-flush option should definitely cut down on water consumption. My only complaint is the handle is plastic & doesn’t seem like it will last long with two little boys. Overall, I’m satisfied.

cable broke after 5 years, handle broke in 2

First unit lasted about 6 years, canle broke. 2nd one plastic peg inside the handle snapped off. Work great onced installed. I do have hard water, but slightly above a 7 ph. I understand water quality varies and affects everything that handles water. Durabilty in contrast to cost is the issue. Nice dual flush conversion which will save water. Only uses about 1/2 flush for #1.

Bathroom update

Replacement part good. Very similar to what I had new.

Not a complete item

Box says complete. Is not. If your existing overflow tube is broken, you will need to buy and install a new one. Otherwise it is fine.

Just installed.. after some effort.

Fluidmaster Fedex’ed an additional adapter because I had a 65 year old brass flush valve... it did not fit because the brass overflow tube was flared at the top. I had to buy a new plastic flush valve ($13) with all new seals since installation involved removing the tank. It is working well, reducing my 7GPF tank to a 1.5GPF.

Bought this to replace a existing one and it still leaked. Not very happy.

Quick and easy!

This is the best system ever to save water with each flush! I have installed other brands but nothing out there comes close to the ease of install, set up and function of this system! So easy that ME the lady of the house did it in minutes... Of course I read the instructions:-)

Fixing a leaking toilet

I purchased this repair kit to fix a leaking toilet and this was a easy repair with this product.

Easy repair

I changed out all my toilet to this style years ago the olderbobes had a flaw where the cable would break, bought the new one popped off the old one and swapped out the handle 10 minute fix.

Defective

Right from the box, the putty seal on the connector was smashed into the bag and ruined. I replaced it with plumbers putty and verified that it was watertight before installing the flush regulator. The flapper doesn't meet the connector, 3mm gap. It never even filled the tank, the fit was so poor. I could understand if it just was a poor fit for my plumbing since nothing is universal, but this was two components of the same kit that simply won't meet. Uncomplete Kit / Not Compatible

The kit I bought from Lowes was incomplete, it seems somebody has purchased it and returned and it was missing pieces, furthermore, I bought the same model in another store to get all the pieces but it was not compatible with the piece that is suppose to fix it at the toilet tank.
