What Customers Are Saying
The Fluidmaster Duo Flush System-Dual Flush Converter offers adjustable flush levels to help reduce water usage. However, many customers reported issues with the product's quality and durability, including the handle breaking, the mechanism failing to properly seal and causing leaks, and the half-flush feature not working well. Several reviewers also complained about the cheap, plastic construction and parts that broke down quickly.

Would Not RecommendEven when on max settings for both options not even a small bit of toilet paper flushes. The only way anything will flush is to hold the handle down and keep it down until the entire time intil the tank emptied for TP to flush. We even had to cut the overflow pipe inside the tank because it nees to be 3” shorter than the intake and that screws us up for future kits
Better then The last one.
Would RecommendMy old one worked for many year and a few weeks ago just keep running after flushing. So I was just going to get a new ball and cock for it to fix the running, but I saw this new system (old one was a push, button top of button low flow and bottom button full flow). I have large hand and it was hard to hit the low flow. So after seeing this new lever design I decided the give it a try. And I am so glad I did the whole family loves the upper and lower flush option with the lever. Installation was...

Handle is garbage
Cheap plastic handle on a side handle toilet interferes with the float. Handle also does not self-center and thinks it us always flushing unless you manually return it to center.

Feels Like Cheap Junk, But Works
Would RecommendI bought this product/model because it was the only one offered at my local Lowe's. I had nothing to compare it to. Installation was not terribly difficult. But, the problem I ran into was that the refill valve was too tall and I had to use tile clippers to modify the underside of the fill tank lid by breaking away of the ceramic material. I ran the risk of breaking the tank lid, but got lucky, I guess. Still, the fill valve adjustment is 1/2 inch below where it should be (1" above the overflow ...
FluidMaster Universal
Would Not RecommendRelatively easy to install and documentation is good but 2 problems: First, the adjustment for the flush size is difficult to control. Second, the handle to flush is to large to accommodate the tank top. When flushing for the liquid waste (handle up), the tank top is in the way and must be lifted to complete the handle up flush.

Seal was dried out and it does leak once in a while. Does save water.

Very Dissatisfied
Would Not RecommendThought this would be a great money. Installed did ok then it starting not doing so well. On the #1 flush much less water process which had let to water stains. #2 flush takes 2 or 3 flushes for a clean bowl. And yes water is turned up to max each flush. Very unhappy and waste of money

Misleading box picture
Would Not RecommendThe box shows the flushing handle shining enough to look like it is chrome plated. The actual handle is white plastic and looks cheap. I returned this unit and bought a different brand at a different store. The one I bought is chrome plated plastic, and looks a lot better, and it was cheaper.

Not Durable
Would Not RecommendWorks well until the the flush handle breaks. Unlike conventional units, there is no way to flush it without the handle. Can't replace the handle without replacing the entire unit. My 1st one broke 2 years ago. Now its' replacement just broke. Won't replace with the duoflush model ever again.

good replacement product
Would RecommendTHis is the second time I’ve bought this product. It’s easy to install and easy to adjust to the proper levels. I would definitely recommend this to anyone who is tired of a running tiolet.
The concept of this flush valve is excellent, however it has leaked from the first day installed. The seal to the existing seat is very hit or miss and the sealant provided does not seem to do the job. I have removed the valve twice and reinstalled, but I cannot get the seal to hold.

give it time.
Would RecommendIt was very easy to install, At first the down flush did not work right. I had to set it to max. then after few days on the down flush the water would not stop.I read the installation guide again and adjusted the down flush as it said and now is working fine.Still getting used to it and the way it sounds.

Packaging
I returned this item. Unfortunately the way it was packaged there is a sticky seal (instead of the typical rubber one) that got stuck to the plastic bag and I could not remove it easily. The seal got stretched and started to pull off the water fill tower so I just repacked it and returned it before I ruined it completely.

duoflush is a NO
Would Not RecommendFluidmaster douflush valve is a NO. Installation is easy. Performance is = to what is being flushed. New valve snaps onto flapper seat and reduces the flow into the bowl causing poor evacuation. Just lots of swirl and not much "go down" I had to pour a large glass of water into the center of the bowl to get evacuation going. The more waste, the poorer the performance. The standard fluidmaster valve and flapper is great and restored my toilet to proper operation. If your toilet was not designed f...

Poor Quality
Would Not RecommendThe piece that snaps onto the flapper opening leaked. The plumbers putty on it was stuck on the plastic bag it shipped in. Thankfully I had extra putty on hand.
