this thing is great, I used one disk to finish my hole deck and make it look new again.

for the price I expected better

this tool does well at removing coatings from many surfaces. it is advertised to remove paint from lap siding. If you do not buy the additional dust shield and run the grinder against the lap siding above the plastic frame fails quickly. The blades flew out and thus it was garbage. When I contacted them they stated that the dust shield that is optional should always be used.

overpriced and overrated

The product is overrated and very expensive and doesn't last long. I got the same result with Diablo Flap Disc 40 Grit

Actually works!!

We have been looking for something to remove old stain/paint on my deck from previous owners after habingbto replace some boards. This product works amazing! Worth every penny. I’m including before and after pics.

Terrible

This is my second blade this week giving it the benefit of the doubt. The first one all of the blades flew off with one striking me and the second one lost a blade within the first few minutes of using it. I feel this was a complete waste of $100.00 this week.

Best for removing old paint from wood siding. Takes some getting used to. Gentle and Flat is key. Saved me hours over scraping and sanding

The best option for stubborn deck paint

We tried renting a large sander and chemical stripping agents. They all fall in comparison to this product. Save yourself the heartache. Go ahead and get this and an angle grinder for your heavy sanding needs.

Good for stripping Pergolas

So I have this Pergola that has been painted and wanted to get it stained. This is probably the best way to strip the paint that seriously stuck on.

This thing works fantastic. Not the most comfortable position you have to be in to use it, but one pass over a board and you are done. We have a big deck, and even though it’s a little tedious, once you do a board it’s ready for staining.

If you don’t want to replace your deck boards because they are now ridiculously overpriced this is a good alternative to strip them.

Best paint stripper

Bought this after reading other reviews, and was not disappointed. I stripped about 700 square feet of deck with one blade and it still has life.
