What Customers Are Saying
The tool is effective at quickly and efficiently removing old paint, stains, and coatings from wood surfaces. However, it requires careful handling as it can easily damage the wood if too much pressure is applied. Some users reported issues with the tool wearing out or breaking, and a few had safety concerns. Overall, the tool is effective when used properly, but it demands a learning curve and caution to avoid potential damage.

Would Not RecommendBought this to rework our wood deck and from everything I read, this tool should have been just what I needed. Nope! Gouged the wood with no pressure applied and one fin broke off after about 10 minutes. I'm not sure how it would work in other applications but did not work at all on Pine 2X6. $60 and did one board which took seven 60 grit sanding disks to fix after the first pass and the gouging.
10/10 Recommend!
Would RecommendThis thing was a life saver. The paint on our deck was peeling in areas so I figured it was time to refinish it. I peeled off any paint I could with a scraper and bought some 40 grit sandpaper to see how that would fare at removing the rest of the paint. I sanded for about 30 minutes and only got paint off like 2 square feet. I had seen this tool recommended in many YouTube videos but I didn’t have a grinder. But after the realization that it would take me years to sand the rest of the paint, I ...
junk, DIYer exploitation
Would Not Recommendmade it maybe 5 ft before 2 teeth fell off. the shroud broke too. You have to take your grinder all apart to get this thing to fit. Not worth it. Use a drill with a grinding wheel. way cheaper and 100 times as effective.
worthless on steel
Would Not Recommendit says for steel sharpen, Started flying a part in 2 minutes worth less
The blades chipped off on the first use.
Would Not RecommendThe blades chipped off on the first use. I was clearing a lot of paint on an old barn and the blades chipped off on a small rock that was painted over. The blades are only held in by plastic.

Possibly Worth 5-Stars...
Would RecommendSeptember 29, 2021 Rated this 4-star since we were only able to use the Diamabrush for two large area, wood siding walls but with further use would consider rating 5-star. However, the current multi-layer paint (10+ layers) was extremely hard, badly applied (thickened prior to application) paint thru' almost all those layers. As with a couple of other product comments here, I was highly skeptical, highly critical of its possible advantages due to exaggerated claims for other paint removal appar...
Diamabrush - definitely for deck paint/stain remov
Would RecommendFollowing advice from YouTube and other sources I tried a diamabrush grinding wheel to remove layers of paint and Restore Paint on my wood deck. The paint had been peeling with water trapped under layers of this awful Restore Paint. The diamabrush attached to an angle mini grinder worked extremely well at removing the paint, especially in the corners and edges. We also used a rental orbital deck sander, which worked well, but as the deck boards were not always even, paint removal varied by board...

Cedar shake paint removal
Would RecommendGreat product for removing old oil based paint and latex as well. Removed 80% of paint from cedar shake so far. Takes a bit to get used to like others have said. I've only used the one wheel so far and have hit nails with it, but don't make a habit of it. I can tell it's duller now, but for me this works better. Less likely to eat the wood. Would absolutely buy again.
Great for stripping old paint off decks.
Would RecommendPerfect for stripping paint off a deck.

Expensive but worth it!
Would RecommendThis is a quality grinding wheel, which I used to get a stubborn stain off my deck. You must use this wheel with care and caution, as it can chew up your decking if you’re not vigilant. I did have a few places that got chewed up a bit, but sanding over them fixed the issue. After I was done using the Diamond grit wheel, it still looked new. Blades stayed sharp. I highly recommend it!

Works where other products didn’t
Would RecommendI bought this to take a solid coating of color deck resurfaced that did last or work. You couldn’t sand down or use any type of removers on it but this took it off. I tried everything only this took worked

Fast and messy.
Would RecommendThis grinder attachment when properly used will remove everything including the base material. It is essential that a guard and vacuum where possible be used. The use of safety equipment ie: eye and respiratory are a must. The one draw back is the diamond imbedded abrasive cannot stand up to any screws or nails and will shorten the tools life dramatically. Also the grinder will clog with the fine silt generated by the rotary disc. This tool will remove any old paint, stain or coating. Positioni...
Easy
Would RecommendRemoved 3 or 4 layers of paint that stripper and pressure washer would not touch.
