great product

Even though I am using this on a porch with three coats of paint on it, it still does a great job. Occasionally the blades load up with paint , But it scrapes right off very easily. The shroud is a must. I would definitely use it again for a deck or other projects. Do not let it sit in one spot too long or you will gouge your surface .

Best tool for Deck Stain prep

I tried several striper and nothing would remove SWP DeckScapes Solid stain......This tool works great!!! slow and makes much dust...us PPE!!!! I have the vacuum option too

I had paint to remove from a large deck. I tried sanding and chemical stripping..... ugh...didn’t work well. Bought the Diamabrush and attached to a grinder. The job became doable. The Diamabrush ripped through the paint. I highly recommend the Diamabrush.

I have a large poorly painted deck done by the previous owner of my house. I wanted to remove the paint and stain the deck. Normally a painted deck could never be stripped down to then be stained, it's just too much work. This wheel made it easy. It takes a little time but it's worth it. I tried a lower powered chemical product which did not work well. I avoided higher powered chemical products to protect my lawn. Could the higher powered chemical products work better? Cool Tool - needs replaceable teeth

Tool worked as intended, the package indicated achieving 1000’ of lifetime use, we only achieved 350’ of actual clearing before the 6 teeth down to an unusable state. Worked great for removing old Deck Restore paint, just buy two if you have a large area to clear. Longevity is the only weakness or I’d give the tool a 5-Star rating

Neat solid stain attachment

If you don’t mind leaning over, or on your knees moving across the deck, this attachment on a grinder will do the job!! I used it to remove solid color stain that was flaking and peeling. The deck is about12 years old and it took it down to fresh wood. I will use a cleaner and a brightner and then stain

Siding paint

Works great, quick a lot faster then scraping the old stuff off. Must be very careful not to dig into siding. Does not work for the corners or really get into the edges/under. For flat surfaces an old wrinkled peeling paint makes the job super fast. You will be covered in all the dust/debris so cover/protect yourself.

Deck Restoration

Diamabrush is dog gone FANTASTIC!!! I bought one to remove many layers of old finish from our deck and it worked great. Sanding was a nightmare but the Diamabrush tool worked in just a few passes.

Wood siding paint time saver

I used this with an 11 amp right angle grinder to remove the chipping paint from my detached 1 car garage. It took 4hrs for a job that would have otherwise taken me 2 days. Well worth the money. It does have a very aggressive grind and if not used properly, will gouge into the wood. Doesn't require a lot of pressure to be effective, just take your time.

AMAZING TOOL!

I have a deck that had been coated with a heavy coat of Behr Deckover. The coating was starting to peel in several areas and looked horrible. Works Great

I was one of the home owners that put Restore on my deck, huge mistake. I tried to pressure wash it off and it didn't budge. I went to Lowes to get a chemical stripper. I walked into the paint department and seen the diamabrush display. I called the toll free number and the tech walked me through what to buy and how to use it. The tool was easy to use listen to the tech do not put pressure down on it let the tool do the work it removed the restore no problem.

garbage for hardwood.

with just the pressure of the grinder, it dug grooves that 60 grit on a orbital wouldn't buff out. I'm going to take it back.

Can't control it

It does cut the paint, but I can't control the motion well enough to get even work. To aggressive for my ability to use it.

Deck saver

I highly recommend this tool! I used deck over on my large multi layer decks, which by the way Deck Over is currently involved in numerous class action law suits, but at any rate this stuff is a mess! Grind away

Works great. I had to buy 2 to do a deck 32x16ft. It does work to remove Deck Store. It’s a thick deck coating and sanding and power washing wasn’t putting a dent in it. Highly recommend knee pads and gloves for prolong uses.

Does what it says, but be very gentle

I purchased this item to strip latex paint off of fairly weathered deck boards. If you plan on using it for the removal of latext paint please be sure to use a dremel tool with grinder or sanding attachments to remove the paint around screws and nails and in between deck boards. Hitting screws or nails will eat through the blades like a hot knife through butter. Also, you must be gentle with this tool. Great for decks

I am one of the people trying to remove a textured surface from my deck made by Olympic. The shield that is sold separately is a must unless you want to be covered in debris. The grinding wheel works well. Unfortunately, I had to purchase another because it started to become ineffective. The one covered an area 16' X 14'.
