What Customers Are Saying
The tool is effective at quickly and efficiently removing old paint, stains, and coatings from wood surfaces. However, it requires careful handling as it can easily damage the wood if too much pressure is applied. Some users reported issues with the tool wearing out or breaking, and a few had safety concerns. Overall, the tool is effective when used properly, but it demands a learning curve and caution to avoid potential damage.

If your thinking about it just get it
Would RecommendAfter reading other reviews i figured id give it a shot, man am i glad i did if your on the fence just do it its not hard once u get the hang of it i went over a couple of nails and nothing happened but this thing did its job quickly 5 different layers of paint came off within an hour, it does make a lot of dust so PPE is important and it is a bit of a workout mainly just holding it up the blades do all the work.

Works Great, But.....
Would RecommendThe only negative I have to say is, WHY DO 6 REPLACEMENT BLADES COST ALMOST TWICE THE PRICE OF THE TOOL???????? Bought this after attempting to pressure wash loose paint off a deck 3 times and every time it dried more loose paint showed up. It has been making fast work of the loose paint. It can leave scratches or swirls in the wood if you push down too hard or tilt it. There have been a few nails hit so I am sure I have reduced the overall life of the blades, but none have broken.
10,000 stars
Would RecommendIf you're stripping a deck to bare wood you need this. Period. I've been stripping 300 sq feet of deck plus the 6x6 posts, stairs, etc that have multiple coats of tough paint for the last month. Tried 40 grit 4x24 sanding belts, 50 grit orbital sanding pads, grinder pads, chemical strippers and scrapers, and all of these things in various combinations... nothing worked efficiently. I spent at least $250 on various abrasive and chemical products and DAYS of my life... I finally decided to try ...
Diamabrush Sanding Tool
It does a good job scrapping away old deck finish! But you must be careful not using hit screws or nails, as that will either cause a tooth to break, or will substantially reduce the life of the tool. I also think that the price is rather expensive, another reason to do easy with it.

Aggressive
Would RecommendVery aggressive. Takes off the paint/stain but lots of the wood too. If that's what you want then it's really good. For me I had to follow it up with a sander to get rid of huge swirl marks. Also it would be good to get the vacuum shroud attachment as this produces a lot of sawdust very quickly

Huge time saver.
Would RecommendI found this product a real time and money saver. Latex paint removal is the bane of refinishing. This product makes quick work of the removal process. Use a scrap piece of lumber to familiarize yourself with the tool. It will give you the opportunity to master its' use before you tackle the main project. Its' aggressive material removal can gouge the wood quickly if improper technique is not used.

Takes off very little paint before clogging
Didn’t work worth a darn. I clogged and wouldn’t take off much paint at all. Worked great at removing wood but not paint.
