Dangerous.. almost sent me to the hospital!

First off, I'm a mechanical engineer and have a home machine shop and I can't believe this device is on the market. I guess it would be fine if you're 100% sure that you will never hit any obstructions like a screw head at or slightly above the surface of the finish you are removing. Works great just need to practice and use a light touch or you can quickly gouge wood

Diamond scraper

Works great strips paint down to wood fast. It will eat into wood very quickly, so use caution. Keep level, and watch out for nails. Nails seem to be the only thing that wears it down. I’ve stripped around 600 square feet and it’s about half worn out. I’m using it on old western cedar siding, so there are a lot of nails.

Works exceptionally well, but can be dangerous.

Works amazingly well. Took off 4 coats of Behr Deckover (worthless product) when NOTHING else would. But be advised.....it is a very DANGEROUS piece of equipment. The blades are unforgiving and my ultra careful husband lost a chunk of his thigh.

The Diamabrush really does work!

I tried power washing, using a stripping product, and renting a drum sander to remove a thick coat of deck overcoat and none really worked very well. I read some reviews about the Diamabrush and thought it was worth a shot. It was unreal! It took that coating off with no problem. Highly recommend!

Deck Paint Stripping

This thing works and works well. Forget the anemic chemical strippers and scraping tools because this grinder cuts off old deck paint and oil stain in a hurry. Takes it back to bare wood for re-priming and paint. I would have given it five stars except for the fact that once the diamond flappers are worn down there is no replacing them and you're throwing out a fifty-dollar tool. works as intended

used this to grind old paint off ceiling beams. Leaves a rough finish but followed with a 80 grit flap disc and was able to move quickly. great tool. only did about 300 SF before needing a new one though.

Removes the worst paint guaranteed

This grinding head is absolutely incredible. I had to strip 80 year old paint off of my house siding and this thing took it all off, even the thickest areas. This tool doesn’t get affected by heat or buildup like sandpaper does and it will remove any paint without fail. It also lasts a long time. One issue is that the head can skip around and it can gouge easily if you’re not careful. Make sure you hold it completely flat to the surface. It’s best followed by 24 or 40 grit sandpaper.

Great deck stripper

The diamond brush worked well at stripping deck paint/stain without gouging the wood. I used it with a angle grinder with a 5/8" spindle. The deck was less than a 1000sqft so i didn't have to buy two.
