Great palm router!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve used this router many times and it works like a champ. It never bogs down and can handle large 1/4” router bits. It also fits great in your hand and is easy to maneuver.

Small router

Overall great easy of use . Powerful yet compact .

A very good hand held router,easy to use and easy to control, you should use ear protection when you use this router.

Good router, nice details

It does everything I needed it to. Highlights include: CLEAR base for easier viewing of your route; LED lights light it up, extremely handy all the time; the variable speed is easy to use; the depth guage is super easy to use. I read a tip online to tighten up the clamp with an allen wrench - it never felt loose then. The collar is extremely easy to remove for changing bits or cleaning. The metal body is sturdy. Straight up, I'm not sure what else to say, after doing my first big project it work...

Nice Router

I use one for detail work and use one on a desktop cnc machine. Does excellent work on both.

Dewalt palm router

I’m new to routers but I absolutely love this thing! I already noticed how good it feels in my hand. Tons of control and very easy to use. I can’t wait to purchase the plunger that goes with it. I am a Dewalt guy and have a lot of their other tools. I look forward to completing more projects and learning more about things I can do with this router. Thanks Colby

Great little adjustable speed router

Excellent and easy to use, only issue is the collar has a tendency to slide and can adjust its self up to 1/8th inch during operation.

Best small handheld router available.

I have used several handheld model routers and this one is by far the best one available. Variable speed is a must have which not all of them do. The led light is also a very nice feature. Costs a couple bucks more but well worth it.

Router ease of use

For what type routing I do this is with no comparison the best router. I have purchased the dust attachment and the plunge attachments.

sweet for the small projects.

I was all jealous of my dad having a router dedicated to a 1/4 inch rounding bit to just smooth the edges on everything he just quickly slapped together for whatever. I finally have my own router to do that. Just used it to smooth the face of a backing plate for the rail of a couple of barn doors. Made that backing plate soo much better.

Have trouble with the adjustment ring popping off when trying to adjust out.

Great small router

Pro's: Easy to change bits. Excellent fine tune height adjustment. Half round/ half square foot is really useful. Con's: slightly larger than the Bosch and Ridgid. Not loving the on/ off switch as the dust cover makes it difficult to use. (Hoping that softens with use). Overall: much happier with this router vs. The Bosch and Ridged.

Works great

I bought this for home projects, and it has worked flawlessly. Easy to use and handle. I only have used it for decorative edges, and making picture frames, so far but am very pleased.

Compact Router

The router is manageable in the hand while still having good power. Changing the router bits is a snap. I would definitely recommend it for small projects.

Perfect lightweight router

I've used this to put decisive edges on trim and furniture, and to cut rough openings in sheathing fit windows and doors. This router had fine everything I've asked of it without complaining, and it's so much easier to use than the big gormy two-handled models. This took me, in one step, from avoiding routers to reaching for this machine whenever the opportunity presents. Would just stop

Might run for 30 min. or 2 min. Would just stop for no reason. First time thought I'd bumped switch. Was disappointed, have many dewalt products and am very happy with them. Returned to lowes same day.
