Works excellent. Ran dado's for a shelving unit and functioned definitely why I bought it. I replaced another brand that I was not satisfied and glad I did.. Good buy.

Great tool!

Its exactly what I expected. I've been using it with great success to carve. The only thing id like is for both sides of the router to be open so the wood shaving would blow out one side and i could see what im cutting on the other.

Routing with confidence.

I’ve always hated routers, high speeds and sharp blades. They make me nervous. Not so with this router. It’s comfortable in hand, smooth running, and operates exceptionally. I’ve taken on projects I would have avoided prior to adding this tool to my process.

Quality at hand

I do work on projects at our camp in the deep woods where we have limited access to electricity. I bought this about a year ago. I've been using it for cabinet projects and it works really well for small/medium jobs.

A great compact router

Got this because a full sized router was too much. This has power and is easy to manage. Really glad I bought it.

This is so much easier and user friendly than the Bosch unit. I took the Bosch back and spent the extra few bucks on the Dewalt. It is a dream to use and change bits on.

As a Dewalt user the DP611 router has problems. In one 10 month span I have gone through (3-)three, routers. Either bad lower spindle bearings and or bearings and brushes. Dewalt/Lowes, have been very good about replacing the router but and its a BIG BUT, these routers are a replacement for the same model that I had owned for (6) six years before. It makes me sad. I always warm up the router before using it, run at lowest speed for 1-2 minutes, turn off and let set for about the same amount of...
