Would RecommendIt is amazing, we needed a sander and this product sands. I am kinda disappointed it would not cut the wood, but it sanded the crap out that wood, smooth as a sanded piece of wood.

This is a really nice router. I purchased my first one several years ago and use it daily. It cut through everything just fine until I started working on a piece of Red Oak when it died. I purchased my second one in July 2023. This one burnt out on the same Red Oak Project. I will try to exchange it or send it to Dewalt for repairs. base plate for a template guide is an extra!
Would RecommendI use both the corded and battery powered. DCW600 routers, they are great tools! I was so disappointed when I found that neither router had a base plate I could use my router template guide with, but for an extra ten day wait low and behold I was able to obtain one, plus an extra charge! Why can't the base plate be made to accept a template guide, am I the only one that uses them?
