Unless you’re hanging a picture on the wall at your house do not buy this only lasted 3 weeks and I am on light duty. It’s trash

heavy duty durable design

the lufkin 35 foot tape measure seems to be a durable design with a hard shock absorbing plastic design and wide tape which allows for large numbers and easy to read lines. the recoil spring is very smooth and the foot on the end of the tape is large and easy to hook to objects. the slide locking button is easy to slide and locks with no movement.

Best Ever

I have used lots of tapes but this one is for sure the best. Hands down. It’s the right size tape with clear lettering on it. Makes your life easy when you me use all day being able to read the measurement. The stand off is also impressive.

Great Professional Series Tape Measure

This tape measure has proved itself on my job site. It’s rugged, with design features that contribute to its durability such as the thick case and the protective rails. The 35ft measurement gives just that extra bit of length that is needed for bigger projects like garage builds, decks, etc where my 25ft tape just won’t cut it. This one measures up!

This Crescent Branded tool is ready for work. Large, easily read inches and feet, makes determining your measurements a breeze. The endhook is extremely versatile, providing a grip on all sides. The lock button is shielded from drops, as it is recessed to prevent accidental release. I can also confirm this tape WILL extend a full 15 feet without buckling!! Makes measuring solo a little bit easier all the way around.

Disappointing

A COUPLE OF ISSUES First thing to warn about is the tape recoil. It is unhindered and violent when retracting. It has the possibility of causing serious harm. It has caught my thumb in three separate occasions bruising my thumb and on one occasion actually splitting it. The second issue is it only has a four foot bend reach, after that you would need two people to get a measurement reading. Extremely disappointed in this purchase.

The big boy

Not your average tape measure. 35ft long comes in handy for marking fence posts and squaring up sheds. I also like the hand break at the bottom of the tape measure.

This is an excellent quality tape measure that I bring with me to my projects and job sites, I keep it in the car. It's very sturdy and a good product overall.

Lufkin 35 foot tape measure built to last

Lufkin easy to read 35 foot tape measure that gets the job done. The unit features a variable control for retracting the tape measure without pinching your fingers in the process. Hard plastic shell and the weight of the larger metal tape spool makes this tool somewhat heavier than a more typical 25 foot tape measure. Built-in belt clip is useful for carrying this unit around as you work. Overall a good choice at a fair price.

35' Crescent Lufkin Tape Measure

The tape measure feels robust and sturdy. The numbers on the tape are big and clear good to see from afar or for a person that needs glasses like myself. I would say the most special thing and also what I liked the most about this tape measurer is the hook. It has four points that allow it to hook from the top or bottom. It is Big and Heavy

The biggest and heaviest I've ever seen. It is a brute. My estimate is it likely weighs 50% more than a regular 30 foot tape. The tape itself is close to an inch wide or about a 1/4" wider than most. The metal tape itself has a deep radius or curl probably for stiffness, so it will not lay flat if that is an issue. Based on 50 years as a tradesman, I see no reason to buy this 35' tape, as as regular 30' works well without the large size and so much weight, and a lower cost. That is unless you j...

Measurements on top and bottom are convenient

I really don't like to review anything until I've used it on the job for 6 months or so. That said, this tape measure is light and compact yet has a good standout - about 12 feet (dependable).

Sturdy, tough, handy

Easy to handle with bigger hands. Sturdy and well built. The wide tape make it easy to read. Secure and easy lock and unlocking of the tape. This one has held up well after many drops.

Long mid grade tape

This is a mid grade albeit 35' tape that is very useful for measuring larger spaces. I don't know that I'd trust it after using it for one framing job.

Solid tape with a little room for improvement

The 35' Crescent Lufkin tape has some great qualities and some room for improvement. The 35' length is wonderful and can definitely make larger jobs easier than shorter tapes. The extra large print and matte finish are also great features and make the tape super easy to read. My two favorite things about the tape are the fingertip control and the 360 degree end hook, which are seemingly small additions my other tapes don't have, but have proven to be very useful. Nice 35’ tape

This tape has some nice features. The tape is wide and numbers are easy to read. Tape can extend long way out and that makes it easier for one person to use. The tape also has 2 ways to stop one with finger on bottom and one with manual lock. I am looking forward to using for years to come. 35’ tape will come in handy.

Great little tape!

Convenient size and great standout (min 8’) for a small tape (@ 16’). The tape itself is very wide and sturdy… super easy to read measurement marks. Lufkin & Milwaukee are my go to brands… but lufkin seems to hold up a bit better long term imo.
