Would Not RecommendI've had this tape measure about 6 months and liked it, but yesterday I realized it was reading 1/16th off. I examined it and the hook had broken through the metal tape and was stuck in the exterior measurement position (adding 1/16 to all measurements instead of just exterior ones). I pulled the hook out of where it was stuck and shortly after, the tear it had made in the tape measure spread, and the head tore off. Had to toss it, unfortunately.

Endhook play not accurate.
Would Not RecommendI like that this is heavy duty (although the strong recoil can pinch fingers if not careful), but my main complaint is that the endhook play/float is more than the thickness of the end hook itself, resulting in inaccurate measurements. It's okay for rough measurements, but nothing precise.

Not the best design
Would Not RecommendFirst, this thing is quite sturdy. Second the hook design is very good and a magnet away from being outstanding. The bad comes when you try to lock the tape. The stop on the inside of the tape, the part that presses down on the tape to hold it in place, gets damaged by the rivets that hold the hook in place.
