Good and bad

I needed a 35’ tape measure for a new job. This has a good name brand behind it so I decided to use it instead of my normal tool brand. Pros: 1. Has a great reach without bending 2. Numbers and hash marks are big and bold 3. Lock works good Cons: 1. Clasp moves an 8th of an inch when pulled 2. It’s a little bulky and heavy compared to others 3. Nice Tape Measure

This is a very nice and solid tape measure. Extended out to 35 ft and rolled up easily. It has some weight to it. The catch at the end of the tape should hold firmly. It’s not just on one side of the tape but both. The catch on the underside is wider and thicker than the top. The numbers are large an easily read. Great features to save your fingers

This tape measure is pretty awesome. It does what it says and will go out a great distance without breaking. More importantly is the finger feature on the bottom of the tape. When it springs back there is a spot you can stop the tape before it smashes your fingers. Very cool. Highly recommend.

Nice tape

Heavy duty tape I like the way it pulls out and goes back in. It is packed very nice and look forward to using it on upcoming jobs. The tape was advertised to extend 12 ft out without collapsing it passed that test.

Very Nice Tape Measure

Very durable and strong enough to not need another person helping hold it down on the other end. Not likr your normal flemsy (cheap) tape measure that is smaller and requires another hand to help hold it. So far a big fan and would recommend.

Solid tape

It pays to have quality tools. It’s my third Lufkin and they keep improving. While even some cheap tape would work, once you use a good one you wouldn’t want to go back. This tape feels solid with rubbery case, has big numbers on non-shiny surface, excellent standout. I’ve got used to use my finger to slow down tape as this is made here to be very convenient. I probly have 20 tapes, can never find one when I need one so I saw this at lowes and instantly fell in love. When I pulled it out it felt good and I could read it without my glasses and to get two for 15 bucks was get was terrific.

Very Disappointed in this Tape!

Several fail points: can not extend to 12' without flopping all around; Tab can not hold without max tension to keep it in place; Tape lock requires extreme pressure to try locking - not successful. Overall fail, will return as soon as I have time.

25’ tape measure broke when removing it from the package.

Good for the 2 months it lasted

Paid extra for this tape measure thinking it would hold up better. It's been dropped once from counter height and now the tape is torn halfway. Buy the cheapest one, don't waste your money on this.

Excellent readability!

After finally breaking a Stanley Max after significant use, I opted to try this Lufkin beast. The wide measuring strip is very readable and the measure has convenient markings across the entire tape, making things easy to mark. It also has little niceties like indications every 16 inches for framing which reduces the need to math. Lufkin Command Control-Pack 35-ft Tape Measure

It is a decent tape, easy to read and the price was right. I am used to a Stanley Max so I wasn't impressed with the reach of the tape as it won't go out more than a few feet without bending. Overall I am happy with the purchase.
