Great Product

I used these to remove the bolts from a child's bench that had been in the elements for years. The bolts were rusted badly. The bolt extraction tool worked amazingly! I replaced the bolts with galvanized screws and nylock nuts, after refinishing the wood and metal work.

Convenient and easy to use

Easy to use, stores easily, works great on my first project, would recommend. Can buy at any local lowes! They even offer curbside pickup which is very convenient

works well on small bolts

I wasn't expecting a lot, but was surprised when this worked well on a rounded-over nut on a clamp. I'd tried pliers, etc. but nothing worked. Sure enough, this worked fine.

The right tool for the job

I stuck the 7/16" (12mm) extractor on the ugliest, gnarliest nut I could find and it grabbed it tightly and spun it right off. The extractor showed no sign of stress and did not strip any metal from the nut. The shafts are solid and the tools appear very well designed.

Great EASY solution for ruined bolts

Made fast and easy work of removing damaged, rusted, seized bolts and screws. Good selection of sizes and convenient holder. Nothing negative to say about this product...its a great time and frustration saver!

Excellent quality

Had some old rusted, misshaped, and seized bolts that were loosened easily with these! Seems to be very high quality, and I’m glad to have these for the next time as well

Easy and Sturdy

I needed to secure metal roofing materials to inside a metal carport. Used the 5/16 with self tapping screws. Attached the metal roofing to the wood beams used for the base. Worked perfect for installing additional metal roofing sections inside a covered garage building being used for a covered woodshed. Very durable and easy to use.

rounded bolt

Great Tool When Needed

In my testing these bolt extractors out did my Irwin USA made one. I started my filing down a 1/4” bolt till a regular 7/16 socket would just spin on it and wouldn’t grip. I put the Crescent apex on a long handled ratchet with adapters and it bit into the bolt as if it hadn’t been rounded off both tightening and loosening the bolt in my vise. So I decided to put them up against my Irwin “turbo” socket set. First I had to tap the Irwins on with a hammer to set them and even then they didn’t fully...

Works well

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I frequently repair lawn equipment that has been "serviced" by so-called professionals that frequently have cross threaded/stripped fasteners because they couldn't be bothered to use proper tools/technique. These are handy to get those pesky bolts out that should have been just replaced in the first place.

Ease of use

I rounded off a screw to try this out. I attached this to my impact driver, it attached easily. I found it to do just what it was advertised to do. The screw was easily extracted.

Unstick rusty bolts

This set works well to remove rounded bolts. I did have difficulty with a nut where the bolt came through about a half inch. If the depth of the socket was deeper, these would be five stars. I like that they come with a plastic holder. It’s a “refill” if needed to round out your set if you’ve misplaced any bits in the set.

Very Sturdy Material

Would highly recommend this product, very well built, sturdy, durable. Nice holder to keep them all together, Not to mention it is also includes 5 different routine sizes that are most commonly used. Very impressed with the quality..

Great Bolt Extractor

This 5pc crescent apex bolt extractors set is one of the best I’ve owned. I tried it on damaged nut and removed it. I love that it fits my impact drill. It definitely is a better bolt biter. It’s longer so another benefit.

Stuck Bolt - No Problem

I’m a home DIYer - these bolt extractors have come in handy the few times that I have actually needed them. It’s nice to have multiple sizes so you are covered. Nice quality item and when that have been able to get a good grip on the bolt they have made short work of the bolt being stuck. My only issue is that I wish they were deeper to accommodate situations where the bolt is not flush with the screw. Quality product. Impact driver compatibility is nice and locks in well. Multiple uses

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this driver bit set, and didn't have any stripped fasteners when it arrived. While still on my bench, I needed to break down a chainsaw. I decided to give them a try on NON-stripped hex fasteners. Works well on standard and metric nuts & bolts! Since it's not putting pressure on the edges of the hex, no rounding at all! I'll also tried it on a torx bolt with a stripped head. Just drive it on, and it removes them easily.
