the string would not advance this is the second one we are taking back with the same problem. not going to try again.

Not as good as they used to be

Once you get used to the lack of response from the trigger the tiny included battery last all of 10 minutes max. So if you buy it better invest in a ton of extra batteries. The blower in the package deal ain't bad though.

This trimmer is awful. The automatic line feeder has NEVER worked. I have to constantly open it up and manually pull the line out every time. Craftsman used to be a trusted brand. What has happened?

Unable to repair!

I am having no luck finding a replacement head for this trimmer. It broke after about 5 uses and I'm not able to find a replacement, which makes this trimmer useless! I am very disappointed as I purchased the Craftsman brand based on past experience. Now it looks like I will have to purchase another trimmer before I can finish my yard this year.

Battery does not hold a charge.

It fizzles out in 20 to 30 minutes of continuous use. It's "hold to start button" is awkward. Won't buy another.

Line gets caught in the shaft

We have only used this trimmer once and we tried to use it again over the weekend and the line gets caught in the shaft and winds around each time. I got it unstuck twice but third time it wound several times. It looks just like the pictures from a previous review. Cannot find a place to repair.

Battery

This is my second trimmer. Returned the first one because of life of trimmer, 20 min. Thought I had a defective one and this one does the same thing. I will be returning it. I can not and will not take 2 to 3 days to trim a lot that is not even and acre. Poor product.

No power, Battery don't last long

I have lawn service and sprinklers gets missed and the grass suffers. I thought it would be a good idea to get a cordless weed eater. I always like Craftsman products and bought them for 35 + years. I always thought Craftsman was quality. Since I bought it just to weed eat around sprinklers at times I figured it would be great. It has no power to even trim around sprinklers and the battery did not last long enough to trim around the sprinklers and I have an average size lot, not like I have a lo...

Spool mechanism broke

Same as the other reviews. String feeder broken. Same spot as all the other photos. My father has always taught me to buy craftsman products because of quality. Pretty disappointing after 3 uses. Can't get photo to upload. So aggravated.
