What Customers Are Saying
This versatile emergency radio offers useful features like AM/FM radio, NOAA weather alerts, a flashlight, and USB charging. It has good sound quality and reception, reliable power options including batteries, solar, and a hand crank, and a durable, compact design. However, some users found the radio dial tricky to tune and the hand crank may not be as durable for long-term use. Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Absolutely love this radio! It is packed full of features for such a small and portable package. The speaker itself has great volume, and did not need to be maxed out to hear it easily, and the dial was very convenient and well labeled no matter which mode you are in, including the NOAA weather radio channels! On top of just the radio functions, the charging functions for this radio are great, and was able to use the radio instantly out of the ...

What a great tool to use!!!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this handy little radio a couple of days ago and couldn't wait to open it and try it out. Right away I noticed the ruggedness of this radio. A solid little piece of usefullness. Not only is this an am/fm radio but it also has a weather band and NOAA band as well. Very useful in an emergency. The hand crank is great to charge not only the radio battery but you can also charge a cell phone or Kindle tablet. The flashlight is very us...

Nicely compact
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like this little radio. It’s powerful for its size and holds a charge for quite a while. I still haven’t put batteries in it. The only con is there’s no charge cord and stations are hard to find but that’s to be expected due to the compact size. I’ve only charged it once so far and it just keeps going. It’s great.

Pleasantly Surprised
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I wasn't sure what to expect when I received it but my initial impression was positive. I was pleased with the apparent ruggedness of it as it did not appear to be cheaply made or chintzy. The crank handle tucks away neatly into the back which is ergonomic and simply reduces the risk of it breaking off. The buttons and turn wheels seemed sturdy and crisp with its functions. I turned on the radio without attempting to charge and it turned on ...

Great power supply, flashlight, and radio,
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I’ve had this for a few weeks. I have not put the batteries in, and have only used the crank and solar power. The device will charge an iPhone 6S (a few reviews noted that it doesn’t work, I think you need an Apple certified usb cord to charge), you can also charge the device with a micro usb charger, so you don’t really need to supply any aaa batteries. I’m impressed with the quality of the radio which is AM, FM, and NOAA. The flashlight is al...

Great tool.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very pleased with this rechargeable weather radio. It has many useful features and is easy to operate. I keep it in a window so it is always charged, but it does have a hand crank as well. The flashlight works well, it gets good radio reception, and the added power bank feature is highly desirable. While I currently use it at home this would be great for camping or hiking. I’m in hurricane country so I’ll continue to keep this unit at...

Handheld piece of mind
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a weather radio fits in your hand and works pretty good. I really like the multiple charging options. There is solar, battery, handcrank and micro usb. Has a usb out port for charging cell phone in case of power outage which is a nice added bonus. There is also built in flashlight that worked pretty good. For a handheld radio, the sound isn’t the best but what can you expect from a single speaker. Its loud enough for everyone in a r...

Good Emergency Radio
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received the Craftsman Rechargeable Weather Radio for a product review and overall was impressed with the radio. The unit features included flashlight, usb 5v jack, solar cell, fm/am/noaa/alert radio bands, hand crank, and backup battery bank. Build quality is light but adequate since this unit is not something that will see daily use. The plastic hand crank arm seems to be the weakest part of the radio, and may be prone to cracking/breaking...

Nice radio
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Radio gets good reception on FM and the weather band tunes in clear. I have not put batteries in it yet or tried the solar charger. Radio plays for a long time just by winding it. My only complaint would be the radio feels and looks cheaply made.

This runs without electricity or batteries
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I like the fact that you can run this without electricity but allows for batteries. You can run it without batteries in an emergency. It has a crank to rejuvenate power. Sound is clear and volume control is good. Good quality materials used in constructing it.

It picks up the bands well and the added bonus of using it as a device charger can’t be overstated. It’s compact size is convenient for camping use as well. Good Value, Good Functionally
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this product a couple weeks ago, and have enjoyed trying out the different features. I have wanted an emergency radio for quite some time, and while there are others at a slightly higher price point, I think Craftsman did a good job of providing essential functionality at a reasonable price. The only things I would have liked to have seen different on this was a carabiner to make it more portable, and possibly some rubber bumpers t...

Great portable Radio
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio is as handy as a shirt pocket. I have used it to listen to ballgames, had it in the duck blind with me to check incoming bad weather. Features are great solar charging, or if it is dead the crank for charging works like a charm. It is a keeper.

Nice emergency radio
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a nice little emergency radio that has several helpful tools. They all preform as they should with the exception of when charging the radio there is no way of telling when it is fully charged. Instructions should come with the unit to explain different aspects of use. Overall it is a very useful emergency tool !
