What Customers Are Saying
This versatile emergency radio offers useful features like AM/FM radio, NOAA weather alerts, a flashlight, and USB charging. It has good sound quality and reception, reliable power options including batteries, solar, and a hand crank, and a durable, compact design. However, some users found the radio dial tricky to tune and the hand crank may not be as durable for long-term use. Overall, it is a reliable emergency radio with valuable features at a reasonable price point.

Would Not RecommendAfter charging radio for 8 hrs via USB, I only had 3 hrs of radio run time -- not the advertised 32 !!!

Purchased for hurricane season, but this radio is good for anytime there is a power outage. The fact that it can be recharged by the sun makes it a good an extra bonus.

Would RecommendIt was charging as I took it out of package, it picks up all the stations I listen too. Have not put any batteries in it yet but it works fine on internal battery. Sound quality is good

Dial to tune radio doesn't work.
Would Not RecommendI was looking for a weather radio to have around the house and purchased this one based on the great reviews and Craftsman name. Sad to say I was no impressed. Only got as far as trying out the crank, flashlight and AM / FM radio. The crank feature appeared to work okay. Flashlight was nice and bright. However the radio is another story. My biggest complaint is that the dial to tune the radio doesn't move. I don't know how you are supposed to figure out getting to a station you want. Needless to...

I hope I never have to rely on this
Would Not RecommendDidn’t come with a Micro USB charger, I have several, so it wasn’t a big deal, but it wouldn’t charge unless it had pressure holding it at a certain angle. I just wanted it for the Weather radio, and to be able to crank it for power if needed.

Not bad could be little better
Would RecommendI just purchased this a day ago. The flash light is bright. Every Wednesday in every state the NOAA does alert testing sometime between 11:00 am too 12:00pm. They don't have an exact time so it varies week too week. The Alert alarm works very loudly should wake you up in the night. The speeker is doable it's not made for luxury. It when DJs are talking you can hear clearly; that's all that matters. For listening to music it will just get you by; remember it for emergency. The reason why i give i...

fantastic little radio!
Would RecommendDoes far more than I realized, utilizes solar, crank, battery and AC power, recieves AM/FM/NOAA Weather band and has a built in flashlight. Charges my cell phone too! Fantastic to have in emergemcy kit. Build quality feels solid.
Peace of mind during storms
Would RecommendThis is a great little emergency radio. The versatile tools make this multi-use tool a great value. The light is strong, the radio tuned easily to an AM weather station (and FM radio stations,) and it was a quick and easy to charge. I am glad to not have had an occasion where I've needed it yet but I feel better knowing that the weather radio will give me power, light and information.

Handy radio
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I bought this radio a month ago just to have for potential poor weather and in the event that I lost power. Knock on wood I haven't had to use it for that yet but used it in my ice fishing hut........

Great little emergency tool
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I received this a few weeks ago and it's been an learning experience. I honestly was new to what NOAA is and while I can only pick up the signal in one area of my home it will be incredibly helpful if we are in an emergency situation. It picks up stations better than my car does and we live in a very rural remote area. The wind up and solar functions are extremely handy as well just in general. No worry about batteries or plugs. The antenna is...

Great product for emergencies
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is a great addition to my storm kit, the crank works great keeps a light handy, keeps you informed with the radio and the charging for the cell phone is a lifesaver, the only thing that could be better is to make radio digital and a scan button

Awesome Portable Radio!
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio is pretty neat! I got this radio and haven’t put batteries in it yet...because I don’t need to! The hand crank is perfect if there is no charge, but the solar panel is awesome! I just leave the radio sitting on the window sill when I’m not using it...and it is ready to go the next time I want to listen to the radio or weather forecast. I’ve also used it to charge my phone when in a pinch!

Just in time for the bad weather.
Would Recommend[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I got this the night before a tornado watch. Kept me safe and a peace of mind. I tried to find one last year before the hurricane season but was sold out. I trust craftsman products 100% and no less..
