Poor battery life

After charging radio for 8 hrs via USB, I only had 3 hrs of radio run time -- not the advertised 32 !!!

We got it to us at the drive in theater and ended up upswing it several time while dry camping!!

Purchased for hurricane season, but this radio is good for anytime there is a power outage. The fact that it can be recharged by the sun makes it a good an extra bonus.

It was charging as I took it out of package, it picks up all the stations I listen too. Have not put any batteries in it yet but it works fine on internal battery. Sound quality is good

Dial to tune radio doesn't work.

I was looking for a weather radio to have around the house and purchased this one based on the great reviews and Craftsman name. Sad to say I was no impressed. Only got as far as trying out the crank, flashlight and AM / FM radio. The crank feature appeared to work okay. Flashlight was nice and bright. However the radio is another story. My biggest complaint is that the dial to tune the radio doesn't move. I don't know how you are supposed to figure out getting to a station you want. Needless to...

I hope I never have to rely on this

Didn’t come with a Micro USB charger, I have several, so it wasn’t a big deal, but it wouldn’t charge unless it had pressure holding it at a certain angle. I just wanted it for the Weather radio, and to be able to crank it for power if needed.

I needed a radio for hurricane season. Love this one. I is small and works on batteries or solar.

Not bad could be little better

I just purchased this a day ago. The flash light is bright. Every Wednesday in every state the NOAA does alert testing sometime between 11:00 am too 12:00pm. They don't have an exact time so it varies week too week. The Alert alarm works very loudly should wake you up in the night. The speeker is doable it's not made for luxury. fantastic little radio!

Does far more than I realized, utilizes solar, crank, battery and AC power, recieves AM/FM/NOAA Weather band and has a built in flashlight. Charges my cell phone too! Fantastic to have in emergemcy kit. Build quality feels solid.

Peace of mind during storms

This is a great little emergency radio. The versatile tools make this multi-use tool a great value. The light is strong, the radio tuned easily to an AM weather station (and FM radio stations,) and it was a quick and easy to charge. I am glad to not have had an occasion where I've needed it yet but I feel better knowing that the weather radio will give me power, light and information.

Handy radio

Fully functional

Good size, portable works well in tool box or truck. A must have if your out in the field or afraid of a zombie apocalypse

Great little emergency tool

I honestly was new to what NOAA is and while I can only pick up the signal in one area of my home it will be incredibly helpful if we are in an emergency situation. Great product for emergencies

Awesome Portable Radio!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This radio is pretty neat! I got this radio and haven’t put batteries in it yet...because I don’t need to! The hand crank is perfect if there is no charge, but the solar panel is awesome! I just leave the radio sitting on the window sill when I’m not using it...and it is ready to go the next time I want to listen to the radio or weather forecast. I’ve also used it to charge my phone when in a pinch!
