Radio has many features at an affordable price

The CRAFTSMAN AM/FM Weather Radio has many great features that make it my first choice to use during emergency weather conditions as well as to carry or pocket for general AM/FM or NOAA broadcasts listening when working around the house. I can set the radio to receive automated emergency weather or other types of emergency alerts. Everything is great but if it would charge rechargeable batteries in the AA battery slot it would be, like ...EPIC!

Does its job with extras

Bought this radio for our hurricane kit. Works great. Nice to have a light and charging ports as well. The hand crank is essential and the kids thought it was fun.

Simple radio

It makes for a decent emergency radio. Not waterproof or water resistant, but was never designed as one. Not a deal breaker but if you plan on tossing it in your backpack make sure you put it in a waterproof bag. One USB port is for charging the radio. Good idea for having it plugged into a USB wall charger to have it ready to go at any time without the need for a specific charger. Wonderful Weather Radio

This was a great purchase! It is smaller than I thought it would be but all of the features make up for the size! The flashlight is terrific! The USB port is a nice addition. The solar panel on top makes it that much better! My favorite feature is having four choices: AM, FM, NOAA, and the Alert. I’m thinking of buying more of these for gifts. This was definitely a great purchase!

Great Purchase

I bought this for hurricane season but I have already used it and it is very good radio!! The charger works on it beautifully, I have no complaints.

Small yet solid weather radio

I wasn’t sure what to expect, because I ordered this online for in-store pickup. The Radio is compact but reliable. It also has a flashlight and a USB port so you can charge your phone if the power goes out in a storm. I’m happy with this purchase.

Craftsman AM/FM WEATHER RADIO

Extremely helpful and a very good purchase especially during Hurricane Florence. It kept us informed when power went out.

During hurricane Florence when we lost power for 4 days it was great having this radio to listen to updates and dull the silence.

For the price, you can’t beat it!

Given where myself and my husband are stationed (in a hurricane prone area), we found that this particular radio by Craftsman was and still is a great buy for us. Not only does it connect to NOAA/Alert rather fast during storms, the radio also has “flash light” capabilities and a USB port (which successfully charges my iPhone 8 Plus and his Google Pixel 2 XL) as well. Like my title says, for the price, you can’t beat it...especially if you’re in a zone that is more common to severe weather!

Good little radio

I'm a contractor and I really like this radio for its compactness and solar charging, gets charge time while I drive, I leave it on the dash facing the sun. Flashlight is bright and quality is as good as you can really get for a small radio. Only issue I've had with it is that it won't charge via micro usb cable unless it's held in there just the right way, could just be mine but that's the only problem I've had out of it. Owned for about 2 months now.

Great radio, but...

I’ve had this little radio for about a week now. It’s been my garage radio and has pretty good sound and reception. However, tonight we had a power outage and I tried to charge my iPhone 8. I couldn’t charge it because Apple software Blocks out third party chargers that do not use a certain standard. I hope anyone that uses an iPhone and thinks this would work as an emergency charger reads this review before actually needing an emergency charger.

I Really Like The Radio Is Because It Has A Flashlight Incase If The Power Goes Out It Also Has A Weather Band, It Is A Really Good Radio. This Radio Can Also Be Good For Camping. And Also The Reason Why I Like This Radio Is That You Can Also Charge Your Cellphone.
