It has good sound quality and reception, reliable power options including batteries, solar, and a hand crank, and a durable, compact design. Good little radio and big on sound. It gets all stations plus NOAA that I listen to.

Easy to use, works great
Would RecommendDespite having basically no instructions, this weather radio was easy to set up and start using. I like that it will actually work with just batteries vs one I had in the past that only used batteries from the flashlight. The weather alert sound is very loud!

Convenient and versatile
Would RecommendWe replaced an old weather radio with this one. I'm very happy with the features. Several means of charging the rechargeable battery (crank, USB, solar) plus the AAA battery backup). The light is more than I expected. Tons AM/FM works well and NOAA is very nice for storm and tornado season. Alert mode will activate NOAA transmission in the event of something urgent. Highly recommend this.
Won't charge and makes popping noises
Would Not RecommendI bought this radio because it was the only option at my local Lowe's. All the extra features sounded nice and it wasn't super expensive. It is small and I liked that as well. However after about 2 months, it stopped charging. I replaced the cord and it worked for maybe a month more before it started constantly making an annoying popping noise whenever it was on alert mode. I unplugged it and left it unplugged for maybe a month and when I went back to plug it in again to try to troubleshoot the...

Would not buy this Weather Radio again
Would Not RecommendIt runs on battery or solar power-no wall plug. I put batteries in it AND set it in a sunny window, with NOAA weather on. Next day it was completely dead. It does have a hand crank that gives you some emergency power, but it is not what I thought it would be. Wasted $35 but I threw packaging away so probably cant return it.

The radio makes a constant blipping sound.
Would Not RecommendThe radio makes a constant blipping sound which phone service said may be a low battery indicator. If that is the case then this new radio has only a couple hours of charge to it. I am going to order a better product elsewhere and return this one.
This radio is worth about $14.99
Would Not RecommendVery basic radio. Like something your grand dad would have in the 70’s.
Not worth the money
Would Not RecommendFor $40.00'you can get a much better radio. It was a Christmas present or I would return it!

Awesome radio
Would RecommendI like this neat little thing. Has fm am noaa and alerts and the stations seem to come pretty clear. Speaker is relatively loud especially in a room or shop. I love all the features and everything seems to work. My only complaint is the antenna is a bit loose when extended. I recommend for every household have an emergency radio.

Lacking a few things but still good
Would RecommendI have had this radio for 11 months. The NOAA alarm setting is loud should wake you up. NOAA does testing every Wensday between 11 and 12 pm they don't have set time so you must make sure your alarm works. The flash light is very bright. Dont expect to fully charge your cell phone and still have power but most emergency radios won't do that as well. The hand crank seems flimbsy but I have used it often in the past almost year. Once again the hand crank is a worst case sanareo if your battery is ...
