Within 2years hinghes, turntable, and control board failed twice. Look at other review s and stay away. Piece of junk for what you pay. Interior light requires a technician to replace at over$150

Modern communication.

We purchased this unit as an integrated over/microwave combination approximately 3 years ago. The microwave recently called it quits and we were told not reparable. The magnetron blew out. We are out of warranty, of course. Rather than spend a great deal of money for w new over/microwave, I tried contacting Bosch to inquire as to the possibility of finding a way to salvage the microwave section. Instead of a reply, all we get is promotional emails. I would strongly recommend avoiding this line. ...

Best Microwave I’ve had!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I have had many microwaves prior to this Bosch. By far, it is the best! It is versatile and easy to use. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a great microwave.

Surprisingly poor quality

This is not a cheap built in Microwave. The screen dimming issue has been mentioned previously. Also had to replace a main control board at 4 years it just stopped working completely. The Whirlpool it replaced lasted for 15 years and was only replaced because it was bisque. This unit completely died after for years

Control Panel

Control Panel was replaced due to low visibility. The image is better, but is still very light in comparision to the image displayed on the Bosch Built-in Oven that is located right below the Bosch Microwave. The Microwave functions on cooking levels, but I have had on 3 occasions bright red bars under the time appear during cooking. Once cooking ceases the bars can be seen as dark images for a few hours and then fade. I had repair in again, but repair tech could not get the Microwave to recreat...

Bosch Built-in Microwave

Our microwave is installed above the countertop relatively high: the controls are difficult to reach for shorter persons. Having controls on one side instead of above the door would improve this.

Advanced Features seem like a gimmick

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Overall the microwave is fine but a lot of the advanced features seem like gimmicks and don't really work. For example, the "sensor reheat" will make the cheese on your piece of pizza boil. Not exactly the ideal temperature to eat if you like to keep your taste buds.

Microwave

numbers are small and difficult to see. The clock is almost impossible to see and the the timer is so quiet that unless you are right next to it you don't know when your food is done.

Microwave Control Panel Dim

The control panel was replaced because it was dark and barely visible at best if you stood right in front of panel to operate. The control panel was replaced and viewing is better, but is not as visible as the oven panel light. If the kitchen is bright during the day, it is much harder to view.

Quiet and Easy to Use

Great Microwave

Disappointing

We moved into a house with a newly remodeled kitchen. We were excited about having Bosch appliances as we had heard good things about them. One month after moving in, the microwave (only 13 months old, and only in use for approx 6 months) started sparking. Our home warranty covered the repair cost to install a new capacitor. A year later the microwave started sparking again and we contacted a Bosch certified repair person. This time the magnatron, diode and capacitor again need to be replaced. T...

Best Microwave Ever

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] While a smaller cavity than some may want, this unit does an awesome job. Easy to use and very smooth hinges and latch. Thankful we convinced our builder that it could be installed in our cabinet choice. A great alternative to the common over the range or even countertop unit!

PERFECT FIT!!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] We looked for 2 years for a replacement microwave that would fit our built in space and Bosch came throught with this great product! More money than we needed to spend on a microwave but we had no choice and so far so good!

It doesn't let you know when it's DONE!

If there is a "ding" to announce that cooking is done, I don't hear it unless I have my ear to the mircowave, and then the fan usually drowns it out. Big flaw in my opinion. Cooks fine.

Cooks fine, but display is disappointing

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Easy to use. A bit deep to clean the back, but that can be seen as a plus for interior capacity. To save myself, I cannot get the display to stay on bright, cannot see the time at all during the it is so dim. Also bummed about being able to set the timer for only short times. It looks sophisticated
