Microwave Timer Loudness

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The loudness control is insufficient. One must stand in front of the microwave to hear it, even when it is set to loud. Secondly, the selection panel should be backlit so it can be viewed more easily. Perhaps a back light could come on when the panel is touched.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave heats quickly and evenly. No hot spots. I have been using a cover over the plates as recommended and it makes a big difference in heating evenly and controlling splatter.

Owners Manual

It would really be helpful to have an owner's manual, but I can't seem to find one to download and the distributor didn't include one with the installation.

No display

Cannot recommend this product.we purchased a newly built house in 2022,and now we have the second issue with an appliance.This time we have a microwave oven with no display. High dollar unit three years old.Not happy

I have it set on high(3) and unless you are standing by the stove you can't hear it. Needs to be much louder. Additional when setting cooking time you can only enter minutes -- no seconds. You also have enter 1 more minute that you want, i.e., if you want to time for 5 minutes you must enter 6 because went you press start it resets timer to one minute less than ...

Bosch Microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This microwave oven has several useful functions that make it quick and easy to perform tasks such softening or melting chocolate or butter. My only complaint is that it is nearly impossible to clean and wipe up any spills. The door pulls down and since the microwave is installed up high above the oven, I need to stand on a chair to reach the back of the microwave to clean.

Poor Engineering

After using MW for a couple of months I called for service on it to fix dim lit clock and low volume timer. Service tech showed up and replaced circuit board on gas stove which was having the same issues. However did not make any changes on MW because he said "this is how it was engineered". The dim light on clock and sleep mode were not disclosed at purchase and it something we deal with. But the low volume on the timer is ridiculous. Unbelievable Waste of Money / BUYER BEWARE

This product worked for about 5 months then it has consistently broken every 6 months after like clockwork. There is a design flaw (one of many) in the unit specifically the microswitches that engage when you close the door. If you open the door with the unit running it should just stop running (like every other microwave on the planet) however this unit not only trips fuses but at the same time destroys the microswitches. Bosch Microwave built in Dangerous Sparks

Purchased in 2020, it worked well for 4 years. Then Thanksgiving day started dangerously sparking. Tech stated it had an electrical failure- magnetron. The cost for Parts, repair, and service call is $650. The factory warranty is 365 days from the date of purchase. Unsure if I want to invest that in my current Bosch just to match with my other appliances. Especially with the possibility of electrical panel failure in the future. May look for another more affordable built-in.

multiple repairs now lying dead

Repaired it twice, andit broke again during the pandemic so now we have resorted to a countertop and have left this broken unit as it is. After a 100K kitchen upgrade. Gee thanks Bosch! Least you could do is pull this abomination from the markert and replace it with somemething a bit more relable?

Disappointed

We have been so happy with all our bosch appliances but unfortunately we have been displeased and quite frankly upset about our microwave at only 1 year of use, sparking flames while warming up oatmeal. The flames literally burnt a whole on the top of a metal plate inside microwave. It was scary. The metal panel was replaced a month ago. Today the bosch microwave made a sudden loud popping sound only 5 seconds into warming up a tortilla. Upsetting. 1 year in.

Wall built in microwave

The plus 30 seconds button is a great feature as is the oversized turntable which allows for platters and larger casserole dishes.
