Fuse Keeps Burning Out

The fuse where the microwave connects to the oven has burned out twice since we have had this microwave (less than 3 years). It is very complicated to change out the fuse. You have to pull the microwave completely out and then replace the fuse in the oven, then reconnect the microwave then slide the unit back in. I appreciate that the problem is inexpensive but I think there is a flaw when a microwave fuse has burned out this often.

Absolute garbage

We upgraded to Bosch appliances with the purchase of our new home in 2020. In 14 mos our dishwasher stopped working properly, now at 22 mos our Microvave built in oven has malfunctioned. What a joke!

Disappointed with Standard Features

It heats and cooks as expected. The 'Done' ding volume is much too soft. (The High and Low volume settings are about the same, too low). In addition, the fan contiues to run after the microwave completes and 'dings'. Consequently, it is hard to tell it has stopped. The microwave is above the Bosch oven, and its' door is hinged on the bottom. So, it is difficult to reach the back of the microwave for cleaning. Considering the variety of microwaves available this Bosch has poorly implemented ...

Love this microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Not sure if my previous review actually went through, so trying again here. This is my first Bosch microwave oven and it's great. Cooks evenly, easy to use functions display, easy to wipe clean. And no ear-piercing repetitive beeps when cooking is done. Just a gentle pleasant 'deedle-eep' when finished. Much nicer!

Design Flaw- dimmed display

As with other customers, our appliance dimmed after it was out of warrantee and only 2 years old. Prior to that display was as bright as the companion oven. Appliance repair person indicated a new circuit board needed (part cost $500). Bosch customer service was not helpful at all. The microwave is attached to the Bosch oven in custom cabinets cut to fit this configuration. At 5 years old it now is completely inoperable. With this many complaints, Bosch should admit a design flaw. Poor quality ...

Steaming microwave

Well designed

Built-In Microwave Oven

Display goes dark

Like many others I find that the clock display goes dark. I spoke to customer service who tell me it is an energy saving feature and there is no fix. Why would you have a clock go dark?? Clearly a design defect, it is a shame they cannot come up with a fix for this.

Awesome microwave

Good microwave

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I am very happy with my microwave. The glass revolving tray could be better designed. The roller base is always off center and glass comes out of grooves easily. Also because of the placement of the door, it is difficult to clean if mounted above oven. Otherwise excellent equipment.

Microwave review

I love the microwave, but the panel characters are very dim and barely visible except for right after I run the microwave. Apparently this is a known panel defect but they are still selling/shipping customers microwaves with the defective panel. Disappointing for a Bosch product.
