Technically challenging

Difficult to reach over door to place in or take out food from the microwave. Particularly a problem when placed over a matching wall oven. Another design flaw is the eco LED light mode. Fits the Space

I have two complaints: 1) the sound of the timer is too soft to hear and 2) the wattage is under 1000 and many of the foods I want to heat or cook require or request you use a microwave with over 1000 w. As advertised

Definitely have to put items in for more time and at a higher power to achieve desired results. The display is very dim when not being used. You cannot even see the clock unless you are standing directly in front of it. I had read this before I bought the microwave, but it is disappointing nevertheless.

Bought all Bosch appliances with our new build last summer for the quality. The microwave functions fine, but I have 2 big complaints. 1) The door should have a side hinge option - it's too hard to get foods in and out above the stove witht he door opening the way it does. Adequate for what I need

Expected more for such a high price

Just like many of the other reviews, i find it RIDICULOUS that this microwave got through product development at Bosch with the display so dim (almost unreadable) and the alert/alarm so inaudible. I would be embarrassed is my company missed the mark so badly on such basic features. Then the unit quit working after 2 years with very minimal use. Just had this installed in new kitchen only to find out that the panel display is considerably more dim than practical to see and more dim than other Bosch appliances installed beneath. To my surprise when I went online to verify I was changing the settings correctly I found that this is a fairly common issue and that a control panel will need to be replaced. Mediocre performer

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This unit is disappointing given the price for the following reasons: 1. The display panel is almost invisible even at the brightest setting. When contacted support, we were told that it was designed so to conseve power. 2. There are a lot of spots in the heating compartment where microwave coverage is not there. Food does not heat evenly through out the compartment, inspite of the turntable. 3. Worst problem of all for this built in model...
