Very pleased! Can’t wait to use it more!

Took this on a chilly day hike to test it out, and although it’s larger than my other (canister) camp stove, I’ll be taking this on everything but my ultralight trips (and maybe even then!) It’s definitely worth the extra space the kettle takes up!! Also, the fact that everything nests seamlessly made it very easy to pack. Best Camp/Survival tool to date!!

Ive had my Biolite Camp Stove 2 for over 3 years now. Ive used it extensively in the bush and on the job. It’s durable and never fails. It’s showing some signs of use, and I know I’ll need to replace it soon, but it never lets me down and still works as good as the day I bought it. Thank you Biolite!

Impressive

This is an amazing stove! I was skeptical at first, but after I got it home and tried it I was impressed. It boiled 1 liter of water in about 4 minutes. Definitely will enjoy this backpacking. No more fuel to carry.

Likes and Dislikes

I would’ve like to have known that the coffee press didn’t come e with the mug. I’m sure you guys stated that somewhere, but not where it’s easy for the consumer to see. I like everything else about it. Bert light, compact and easy to haul. I’m going to order the case. One thing I’m not happy with is the plastic cover that comes with it. The plastic tab that goes between the pieces that are held together looks like it’s been bent so many times the plastic turned white and and is compromised. I b...

Make camping great again

I’ve owned this for about 2 years now and used frequently. I absolutely love this thing. It is so easy and fun to cook on it makes me want to go camping just to use it. It is do-able to hike with, but heavy for backpacking. I use it primarily for car camping and occasional bio-light parties in the winter with my buddies!!!

Love is in the air

It’s a fun portable camp fire experience and super easy to have a great fire.

I lit twigs, pine cones and other stuff in my backyard for the test. It worked! I just got a few logs (firewood) and it did not fit. Maybe if I cut it into smaller pieces it will work. TBD. Will report back after I get an axe (tried with a steak knife and it didn’t work).

great offgrid stove

Great stove to use if you're offgrid or at a cabin. Once it gets going there is no smoke. Hope it last a long time.

The Little Stove That Could

Truly a great stove. I drank the KoolAid with all the BioLite products from early on. I own the first version CampStove, a BaseCamp, a FirePit, and sundry lights and such. This appears to be a great stove and an improvement over version one. The LEDs that signal fire intensity, battery level, and recharging are better. My USB current meter shows good output to charging devices. I’m a fan.

Get One Immediately.

I haven’t used yet but my daughter uses the one I got her and it works flawlessly. I like knowing that my purchase is going to help give families who are still cooking on open fire and will help them get a Base Camp Stove . This will prevent injuries to many people.This stove isn’t also great for emergency preparedness. Thanks Biolite

For anyone who is into camping this little gadget is a must have piece of kit. I took mine out and put it to the test for three days and it was a beast. I cooked all my meals on it and they came out great. I cooked ribeye steaks, pork chops, bacon and burgers on this little monster and I enjoyed every minute of it. You can use dry tree branches and twigs to run the stove, but I processed hard oak wood into 4-5 inch long 1/2 inch pieces to give me longer burn times which can also be controlled by...

Works great set it up on the deck to try it out made smores and coffee. Kids loved it
