Good cook stove

There are two things I'm not a fan of, the battery can charge or be charge, but not at the same time. The other is if your looking for warmth you have to lean over the top. It is a good "cook" stove, I've cooked w/o the grill.

Great versatile unit for camping and picnics alike

Great as advertised. The grill isn't quite as even as a small charcoal grill but the ability to be able to swap interchangably from the kettle to the grill makes up for it. Works great for hotdogs and frozen burgers. We did some bone in chicken thighs as well, but simmered them in the kettle in seasoned water first (to ensure they would cook evenly) then charred them on the grill. This method has the added benefit of leaving you with a kettle full of warm broth to drink or boil noodles in. ...

I’ve had this for almost 3 years and I absolutely love it.

Super cool and works but bulky

Really innovative equipment. A bit large for backpacking maybe if split amongst 2 hikers. The grill attachment grilled up our sausages very nicely. Again a bit too bulky for hiking but car or canoe is fine.

Use

Super simple to set up and use. Easy to cook straight on the grill or roast above it. Love it and use it anytime we going in the woods

Best purchase I’ve made in a long time.

This unit worked better then I had imagined. I’m quite impressed at how I was able to make a few burgers on the grill as well. You don’t have to be a camper or a hiker to utilize the campstove as it’s awesome on picnics too. I can’t wait to see what products biolite come out with next.

Amazing product

So nice. Exactly what I wanted. Been wanting this for a while. My family and I go camping a lot and hiking so this helps a lot. Light and compact. The grill is a nice option/feature but to small for me since I eat a lot hah so it’s a pain having to refuel it. But 5 stars. Recommend to everyone. Pick one one and hike away!

Great Product, little learning curve

takes a little getting used to the fuel and air flow mixture. Once you get the fuel and airflow mixture right this stove will put out the heat. Only down side I noticed was it didn't seem to charge the battery as fast as I was hoping.

Great stove love it

Great stove would like a smaller circular grill for single pot or other non biolite accessories should be able to cut circular steel plate with cut outs and hole in middle for stick feeding. Maybe fold-able to fit inside for more compact. Example I use a ncamp perc. for coffee the base is small which does not fit on top sturdy anyways Just an idea for smaller compact grill.

Fires start up easily, fast and I didn’t have to feed the fire as much as I thought I wood. :)

Takes a little practice to keep flame going consistently without smoking for a while first but once going and in a rhythm this device works great. Heats food and water very quickly, packs away very small, and uses very little material to be effective.

Great for oldies “on the road” and off!

Such a fun way for even oldies to enjoy!! Fun for a quick lunch bbq and for road trips soon to happen. A fresh pot of tea even!

Worth it!

Super happy with the product and the service provided by the company. My bowl was cracked upon arrival, they quickly responded and had delivered me a new kettle with bowl within a week. Will be looking at more products from the company

It’s Magic

Great fan powered rocket stove. Boiled water and cooked burgers with it on our first trip. I have no idea how heat and flames can recharge the battery but it does. Only drawback is weight, this thing is heavy and not for ultralight expeditions. The boiling pot could have easily been made with much lighter material I think. Grill attachment not practical for hiking either, but novel all the same (and functional). Very impressed with this thing.

Very well designed and built. A must have if you need your technology charged while on a extended camping trip away from utilities.
