Great, well designed camp stove

I bought a stand alone CampStove 2 and it worked so much better than my expectations that I bought the Bundle so I could get a second stove and the cooking accessories (I like making coffee and cooking breakfast at the same time). The stove heats up quickly and the more fuel you add the hotter it gets. The power produced is plenty to charge up a smart phone. Muy impressed

The Biolite stove design features are well thought out- from the tripod legs that fold into the profile of the stove to the way the module connects and rests within the legs. So far I have only played with it in my driveway but I’m assured it will meet every need to charge electronics while I’m waiting with high expectation to fill my belly on the trail.

How patient are you?

Stove works very well with DRY wood. It will take more than 2 hours to fully charge the battery and should only be relied on in a pinch. Far and away the biggest drawback is that the grill doesn’t come with a lid you can cook with!

Great stove love the concept.

Great little stove. I used it recently for a two night camping/ ice fishing trip. It packs nicely and fairly light. I used the grill it worked well cooking some steaks. The grill does have a a deflector that does a decent job of distributing the heat. The French press coffee maker works good. With the fan on high I had hot coffee in about 6 mins. The battery is decent and the light is very handy for evening cooking. My only complaint is it does require a good stockpile of fuel. All in all I'm ve...

BioLite Hype

After hearing some hype about this camp stove I decided to take the plunge and purchase for my recent camping trip. I was a little scared at first that I made the fire too big but everything worked out just fine. Used this for two weeks to cook all of my food and charge my electronics. AMAZING. I wish it wasn’t so bulky so that I could take it backpacking but trails often have fire bans so it works out fine. Seriously incredible way to cook food and store power. Would recommend

Awesome unit

only 4 out of 5 stars because i'm not completely happy with the way the actual grill fits into the frame. So far I've used this stove about 10 times since Christmas and am very happy with it. The one issue I had with sustaining a fire was with fairly wet wood and I had the burn chamber too full but once I pulled some sticks out it worked great. This thing is awesome! It seems to take a while to charge, but if you were camping and running it all night, that wouldn't matter. I love it, and the philosophy behind it!

Efficient pack in m/c pannier

I take this on my motorcycle and car The fan section in the burner section in the kettle makes for a neat package which goes into the m/c pannier easy Living in BC(the WetCoast),winter fuel is harder to source, carry a fire starter block or two, that helps

Absolutely love this bundle! Takes care of everything I need and it all compacts down into one bag! Just be careful to always have a source of starting the stove and maintaining it!
