Useful and simple

Played around, cooked some burgers in my backyard for a test run. I appreciate that so much can be done with kindling, since I’m no use with an axe. On our first family camping trip, this was PERFECT for getting my coffee on before the rest of the gang woke. I bought this to use as an emergency bug-out tool, but I’m sure I’ll be using it for my recreation far more.

This is amazing

I am so impressed with this little stove. It was fun finding little bits of wood to fuel and it burns very efficiently so the sticks I burnt lasted long enough to boil water and cook meat. Also, being able to charge my device was awesome. I definitely recommend this great piece of technology.

Review of Campstove 2 Bundle

Recently had an opportunity to try out this bundle love the fact all you need is twigs to start this burns relatively hot. You can improvise using the fire starter with other material than what is provided if need be. Still need some way to get a spark. It does charge a cell phone but it takes a long time to do this which means you constantly have to supply the source with fuel. It did get very hot and shut off one time. My initial review.

I just received it, and was packed very well. It came somewhat charged, so i plugged in the light and turned on the fan to discharge, and then charged by the wall. Once full, i plugged in my phone and it went from 10% to 35% before empty. I was also watching youtube videos while it was charging. I charged it again from the wall, and plugged in my phone again until empty. From 20% to 49% before empty. Again, i was watching youtube videos.the whole time. Best kit for camping beginner

This bundle solved our camp beginners all worries and nerve, and all solid construction I believe it will last long till my kids. Thank you for create this Biolite!

Stove looks solid, grill isn’t aligning to stove.

I set the bundle up for a test run and was disappointed to see that the grill is unstable. One of the legs isn’t welded in the right place (see pic) so when it seals the stove opening the leg doesn’t touch the ground; and vice versa, when the legs are both on the ground the openings don’t match up. The stove seems great but I’d like to get a grill that fits properly.

So easy to use, it cooks quickly, and the food tastes great. Good delivery and good product. I would (and have) recommend it to anyone!!

Biolite 2 grill

I own a Traeger wood pellet grill. Wood pellets work great in this stove. You only need a small amount for cooking and it provides a consistent long burn. Even just get it started with pellets and then add small bits of hardwood to sustain the fire.

So-So

The unit lights up easily enough, but it seems to also easily over-heat. With the grill, you can cook some meats and veggies, but it is not that versatile to cook other things (pancakes, eggs, etc.) I haven't even used the coffee press because it is much easier to make coffee on a gas stove. I would appreciate more recipes (even a cookbook) for this set up. The pot seems to limit you to things like stews, soups, and the like. You can't do stir fry, and even boiling pasta is a bit strange. I boug...

Better than expected, true joy to use, it’s simply magic !!!

Best upgrade ever!

I started with the first Bio lite that did most of what I needed. The older model didn't have a sophisticated power management and lacked enough current for my smartphone. The new CampStove 2 is light-years ahead. It has the juice to handle my Samsung Galaxy as well as a much improved console for feedback. I'm glad I went with the bundle since the pot and stove packed together gives me easy space for the grill. My only suggestion would be to change the top edges of the grill from the sharp edges...

Performs as promised we are very satisfied. Heats up quick and is amazingly simple

Fan shut off too soon...

Had some problems keeping the fan going when the fire was low but still burning. The fan shutting off then made it hard to ramp up the fire. Otherwise pot and grill cooking elements worked quite well and charging my phone was a plus!

Almost Perfect Bundle

The Biolite Campstove 2 is a phenomenal product with very little drawbacks. You can burn many things inside it, and it works well as a stove. The kettle is useful for boiling water and cooking meals that are typically cooked in a pot. However, there is only a single negative I have for the bundle, which is the griddle. Wow, really neat camp stove

Wow, really neat camp stove. Tried it twice. For me it was a bit of a trick to get it going. Like the gauges for heat and power. Would be 5 stars but not keen on the grill. May just need to practice. Love the size and the way it all packs in together.

Thought it was going to be great.

I thought this was going to be amazing, but turns out it’s pretty much a waste of money.
