Battery stops holds its charge

This vacuum is really good at first. One of the best suction handhelds I ever used. However, after a year of usage, the battery stops holding its charge. Then you'll have about 15 seconds to use it each time. And there's no way to buy a replacement battery, making it useless and you having to buy a new one. If there was a way to at least change the battery it would be 4 stars for me.

Dog Hair Gone!

My car has never been so clean. Car wash vacuums never worked on dog hair. This little Black & Decker with the brush and suction has removed most of the dog hair from my car. It's great in the house for small, quick clean ups, too.

Best handheld vac on the market

This is the best handheld vacuum I’ve ever owned. It’s my second time buying it. The first one lasted 5 years. It has great suction, easy cleaning and the tools to extend reach or use the brush are built right in.

Best & Most Reliable Dustbuster Model Ever Made!

Have used this specific Models for many years and I feel it’s the Best Model that Black & Decker has ever made. I like everything about this Model and it’s Easy to take apart and Clean. Power is Fantastic and it holds a Long Charge. Thanks!

Always Handy

This is our second Black and Decker Cordless Hand Voc. Identical to the previous one. Our first one was purchased about eight years ago and is still going strong with the exception that the battery is not lasting as long as it once did. We use it both around the house and in the car. The intake extension is a great feature for using it in the car. Cleaning the filter and emptying the debris is so easy and convenient. No wonder you haven’t changed it for at least eight years. Disgruntled Consumer

This product is not worth the money one pays for it.... after only 3 months and only used several times the motor howls and it lacks any suction power at all....beware of this vacuum ... it's a lemon !!! And after reading the Terms & Conditions I only hope Black & Decker publishes this content I have submitted.

I'm hard to please! I'm pleased with this vacuum.

This is an upgrade of a B&D model I had for almost 15 years. So I bought the upgrade! It is an incredible hand=held vacuum with excellent suction and convenient features: easy to empty, and the filter can be cleaned with the suction hose from your large vacuum. I keep my unit plugged in all the time, and so it's always ready for quick cleanups. I looked long and hard for the upgrade.

I bought it because my other black and decker was giving out....I was a little shaky buying it. once I received it I was amazing how much power it hadi love it easy to use and very simple to clean it out charges very good. If your thinking about buying it get it you won't be disappointed one bit

Best Dustbuster!

This is our second dustbuster! We had one for, probably close to 20 years before it finally conked out :o(. We were so happy that Black & Decker still has the same dustbuster because it is the strongest one out there!

Exactly what I needed. The only problem is following the directions to put it together but that’s not a Lowe’s problem. Definitely my problem but I’ll figure it out.

Great when it works, but has battery life issues

When it does work it’s good, but it only gets used once every couples months or so and the battery has stopped charging and working twice now. The first time B&D replaced it with a working unit, which was great. Need to contact them to see what my options are that it’s happened a second time.

Good suction, bad battery

I've had this vacuum for three years. In six months the battery went from holding a charge for about 10 minutes to less than 2 minutes. Now, I get 40 seconds. Black & Decker doesn't sell a replacement battery so I'm tossing this unit. And, I'm not buying another B&D product.

Ok until the battery goes

It worked ok for a while. Then the battery life started deteriorating until it no longer holds a charge. Since it is not replaceable it is now nothing more than another item destined for the landfill. I guess Black+Decker does not support the 5 R's.

Great till it wasn't

Got mine 7/21, but now everything - esp dog hair - gets stuck at the flap between the tube & the cylinder. Originally loved the space-saving design & suction, but durability seems to be an issue. I haven't contacted customer service yet but will post an update when I do
