Shedding has met its match

This is a very powerful vac (a bit loud but that goes with the territory) with a long operating life between charges. The brush attachment works very well on my dog beds and saddle pads. With a horse, a German Shepherd and a Golden Retriever there is constant shedding. Docking in order to charge is as simple as placing it down on the charger.

Plastic pins hinged door breaks easy

Hinged door broke with the plastic pins. Hoping to buy a replacement door but doesn't show up in black and Decker parts

Defective Piot Vac

Recently bought 3 handheld pivot dustbusters. None of them will turn on or hold a charge. They have never worked.

Too loud, no suction

Worked well for a while but then lost suction and got super loud. Filter is clean so there is something wrong with the motor. Totally unusable.

Absolute Trash!!!

DO NOT BUY!!! The product is absolute trash! When I first used it, it barely picked up anything. I figured it was because I needed to charge it. This wasn't the case, this "hand vac" has no power and barely picked up sand or crumbs. I regret that I never got around to getting my money back. Hopefully this post can prevent you from wasting your time and money.

Horrible charging update

Purchased as replacement for previous similar model and come to find it requires shelf space on a platter to charge. The entire reason to have this is to mount on wall to reduce space. Forcing the unit to charge on the counter is…counterproductive…while a pun—it’s a horrible design. I will be returning and getting something else that doesn’t require counter space. Like 99% of all other handheld vacuums.

GREATEST DESIGN AND DUSTBUSTER EVER!

I don't understand why this workhorse has such a low rating. WEll- partly. My firt one the batery died. But I bought another nd it has been oging strong for 16 months now! Came here to buy another for my son who lovesit! for his new apartment. I adore mine and enjoy using it eery single time! It's light, works for 5-10 minutes at time which is good enough for light quick dust mess in an apartment and nit can reach every nook and cranny. Bad battery

I bought two of these because they looked great and saw good reviews. They all have battery problems. One of them only worked for less than a year and the battery gave up. It only turns on for few seconds after a full charge.

Shut off

This handheld vac will not stay on. It shuts off almost immediately.

Excellent Until It Won't Charge

I had an earlier model (PHV1810) of this vacuum that lasted for over 5 years--I've had this for 18 months and now it won't charge and thus it won't turn on. I love this vacuum for its compact size, powerful suction, and pivoting feature that lets me get into hard-to-reach spots, but it just abruptly stopped working one day after consistent, quality performance. I'm so disappointed!
