So far so good.... Much more powerful than our last cordless vacuum

Poor suction

Bought this to vacuum my new carpet on the steps. Had it plugged in for for a few days. When I used it on my steps only did 7 steps then battery turned off. Suction was poor. Had to gather what the brush picked up and push it into the vacuum. Awful vacuum. Wasted my money.

Best hand vac ever

I bought this about 3 years ago. It is the best hand vac I have ever had. But alas, the cord that connects to the charger broke off. I could not find a replacement charger, so I purchased another brand and I am really disappointed with it. Hopefully I can find another charger for my Black and Decker cordless handheld pivot vac which is so easy and convenient to use.

TERRIFIC VAC

The 20 volt handheld vac is the best ever. It's Powerful, holds a charge longer than all others. Great Dust Buster !

Love this vacuum!

We use this vacuum constantly. It's much more powerful than our previous model, yet is compact and lightweight. It's handy for quick pick-ups in the house and cleaning tough to reach spots in our car. Love it!

No replacement battery?! BS!

Decent vac, but will no longer buy B&D throw-away vacuums

Don't expect more than a few years, then trash.

Product works beautifully out of the box, but over a couple of years, the battery holds <1min of charge. There is no way to replace the battery, so the entire unit is garbage. I think this is irresponsible of B+D to contribute to unnecessary trash. Designed to force complete replacement. Not buying here again.

Bad battery

After a Year of Use battery online last 1 minute. And no possiibility to buy a replacement battery Vacum itself very good but when battery give up this fast it is useless

Did not last

WAS great for awhile and then the battery wouldn’t charge. Useless now.

great hand vacuum

have used an earlier version of this product for more than 7 years and never had a problem. battery still excellent. about 2 years ago purchased this product which worked excellently until this month. has not been holding a charge. called CS to see if the battery could be replaced. Instead, they sent me a new replacement no charge! working excellently.

Over priced and a poor product

This handheld is not cheap. I am ok with spending money for a good product, this is not a good product. Have not had very good experiences overall with black and decker. Lost suction power and the motor had a burning smell. Only had this for maybe 8 months.

Works good but limited battery life

The Black+Decker-20V MAX Lilthium Pivot Vac worked great, but, unfortunately the lithium battery is not replaceable. So, after using it for two or three years the battery life is spent. I will have to buy a new Vac rather than just replace the battery.

Short lived battery

A very nice portable powerful hand vac that is only good for a short amount of time. Lithium batter difficult to maintain and short lived without any replacement. Good for maybe 18 months.

Doesn’t charge

I just opened the box, plugged in the charger and there’s nothing.... no light, no charge and zero signs of this thing working. I’ve tried all the trouble shooting and nothing has worked. Very disappointing seeing as it was a gift and I have no receipt. Make better products!

Works great...until the battery dies

I bought this two years ago, and I now get about 30 seconds of use before the battery dies. Suction very good while the battery lasts.

It ok but wouldn’t recomemerd it

Kind of cheaply made the way the hatch opens to empty the dust put. Careful not to sneeze with the hatch open because you will break the hatch. The filter changed easy enough but not the pre filter. It looks like a special a tool needed to get the prefilter out. The first unit it was used a lot but the motor came loose. Cheap, cheaply made. Bet it won’t last as long as the bd Dustbuster.
