Easy to assemble

This replaced another keypad that broke. It works well! Arrived quickly.

Easy Setup & Reliable Use

I had to call support to get a reset code as the initial setup failed partway through, but after getting that, setup and use was super easy, and it has worked reliably ever since.

Stopped working after 3 days

The keypad stopped working after about 3 days. The app shows it is connected and the battery level is good but the keypad doesn’t work. It doesn’t illuminate when I type in the code and it doesn’t unlock/lock the door. Not sure why and I’ve been too busy lately to troubleshoot.

Junk

Nothing but constant issues with these products! Brought 3 auto locks and two key pads and 3 doors sensors for my home. Integrated into my alarm system and keeps disconnecting or not doing proper commands. Way to much money invested into this product. Expected a much more reliable product for what I paid for!!! BUYER BEWARE!!!!

It's fine

Bummed that I had to buy a second one. The first one I had for a year before it stopped working. It's such an expensive device that it's kind of annoying that the keypad isn't a better quality. It is a necessary part of my family's needs, with family, dog sitter, etc. Probably would do a little more research before purchasing again.

Excellent for the older generation

First of all I had bought the august lock. Worked great then couple of issues in-laws found it difficult so invested in the keypad now they come and go so simple to use thank you August

Needs work

Keypad needs to beep or flash so that I know that the door is locked I can't hear the lock closing from the outside The lock itself the geofencing needs a lot of work I live on the 4th floor when I park my car downstairs my door unlocks by the time I get in the elevator and get upstairs could take up to 2 minutes and my door is unlocked

Working great!

I bought the keypad a few weeks ago. It installed easily and works great. No problems so far. Fits nicely between the door and the screen door so it isn’t seen easily. Very nice to be able to give different people different codes to see who is accessing when.

Batteries don't last + says full life when not!

We were excited to buy this for our Airbnb properties, as August integrates with Airbnb to automatically generate door codes. We wanted our guests to be able to use a door entry code if they'd prefer over the app. We replace one of the 4 batteries we own bi-weekly. It probably takes us more time replacing batteries than it would if we kept our Schlage Sense keypad and entered door codes for our guests manually. Great for when you are popping out to walk the dog

I bought the key pad because sometimes you just want to exit the house for a quick moment with out your phone. Works great when leaving the house - you can just press the red button and the door locks. When the kids are visiting - they can just open the lock. I am so happy that August came up with this addition to their lock system which I have had for years !

Bought this product so my smart lock with WiFi that I run on my HomeKit would be able to be unlocked by guests IE my parents and my in laws it works easy to put in and set up
